Abstract

The occurrence of public buying interest is influenced by many factors, one of which is the latest form of marketing carried out by business owners. Branding and endorsement carried out by celeb-grams through social media such as Instagram is an effort to introduce the company's products. The purpose of this study was to find out the endorsement strategy carried out by celeb-grams or influencers and what the results were from marketing through celeb-grams or influencers. The method used for this research is descriptive qualitative. This study used interview and documentation techniques. The subject of this research is the celebrity account @sandy.ss. The results of the study state that the current marketing style in building branding products such as endorsements is the right choice in the current era of globalization because endorsements are a channel for brand communication where celebrities act as spokespersons for brands and support brands with all their attributes.

Abstract

The rise of cases of promiscuity related to pre-marital sex by teenagers is caused by a lack of education about adolescent sex education which is still considered taboo to discuss. This study aims to find out the communication patterns used by teachers toward students of SMPN 5 Kota Sukabumi in delivering sex education. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research with an ethnographic communication approach used to achieve the research objectives. The research data was obtained through interviews conducted with students aged 13-14 years, as well as teachers aged 30-45 using recording and note-taking techniques. From the results of the study, data was obtained that the delivery of sex education at SMPN 5 Sukabumi City had been carried out through integrated subjects that were in accordance with the curriculum and delivered with persuasive communication patterns so that students could ask questions broadly and understand well. In conclusion, sex education at SMPN 5 Kota Sukabumi has been delivered with good and interesting communication patterns.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis representasi budaya patriarki yang terdapat dalam film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap karya Benedion Rajagukguk. Hal ini karena film tersebut memiliki adegan akhir yang membuat Sarma sebagai salah satu tokoh anak perempuan dalam film tersebut menjadi tidak mendaptakan penyelesaian masalah seperti tokoh ketiga saudara laki-lakinya yang lain. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dan deskriptif. Peneliti menggunakan teori Roland Barthes untuk memahami makna dalam film Ngeri-ngeri Sedap. Film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap menceritakan tentang sepasang suami istri bernama Pak Domu dan Mak Domu yang ingin membuat ketiga anak laki-lakinya yang sedang merantau pulang ke rumah untuk menghadiri pesta adat sulang-sulang pahopu. Namun karena ketiga anak laki-lakinya tak kunjung mau pulang akhirnya Pak Domu dan Mak Domu menjalankan rencana untuk pura-pura bercerai agar ketiga anaknya mau pulang. Visual dan audio yang ditampilkan melalui tabel analisis memperlihatkan bahwa tokoh Pak Domu sebagai seorang kepala keluarga mempunyai peran yang terlalu mendominasi dan terkesan keras kepala. Visual dan audio yang telah dianalisis menggunakan Semiotik Barthes juga memperlihatkan pentingnya untuk mendengarkan pendapat dan bekerjasama dalam menjalankan peran Bersama pasangan sebagai orangtua. Visual dan audio yang telah dianalisis pada tabel hasil penelitian juga memperlihatkan pesan edukasi proses memperbaiki diri.
