<![CDATA[Abstrak. Kusta adalah penyakit infeksi menular yang disebabkan oleh Mycobacterium leprae yang menyerang saraf perifer dan kulit penderita. Masalah yang dihadapi klien kusta bukan hanya dari segi medis saja tetapi juga dari segi psikologis. Perubahan fisik pada tubuh klien kusta, adanya kecacatan dan stigma buruk dari masyarakat dapat mempengaruhi konsep diri klien kusta. Dukungan keluarga merupakan bentuk psikoterapi yang dapat membuat klien kusta merasa nyaman, diperhatikan, dihargai dan sehingga diharapkan klien kusta dapat memiliki konsep diri positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran konsep diri pada klien kusta di wilayah kerja puskesmas Buaran Dan Tirto I Kabupaten Pekalongan Penelitian ini menggunakan desain descriptif study. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh. Analisa data menggunakan analisa univariat dengan hasil konsep diri positif yaitu sebanyak 27 responden (58,7% ). Banyaknya klien yang memilki konsep diri positif tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor antara lain kecacatan, status perkawinan, keyakinan klien dan dan sikap masyarakat lingkungan tempat tinggal klien. klien yang memilki konsep diri positif juga didasarkan pada keyakinan dan kesadaran responden akan penyakitnya. klien menyakini bahwa kusta dapat disembuhkan sehingga responden tetap semangat dan tabah menerima penyakitnya. perawat hendaknya memperhatikan aspek psikologis dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan/pelayanan kepada klien kusta dan memberikan informasi yang jelas kepada klien kusta dan masyarakat agar klien kusta memiliki kepercayaan diri dan memilki konsep diri positif.
