Abstract

Ambidexterity plays an important role in organizational development, which influences national development. National development is a joint effort between the people and the state which is carried out in order to improve themselves in a better direction together. The aim of this research is to analyze the law of organizational amidecsterity development in higher education institutions. This research is part of a qualitative research using a systematic review approach. Systematic review is a method that uses previous evidence-based evidence through review, evaluation, structured evaluation, classification and categorization. The results of the research analysis show that the ambidexterity of higher education institutions is a model that integrates the performance determinants of classy higher education institutions, and proposes a commitment that is influenced by: (a) brand ambidexterity, which is explorative and exploitative oriented; (b) able to adapt to the social and economic environment; and (c) being responsive to students' perceptions of the university's brand image and reputation which will increase their commitment to their studies. The implication of this research is to provide an overview to higher education institutions so they can develop the concept of ambidexterity in the process of implementing higher education.

Abstract

Indonesia has ratified 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) recommended by the United Nations to all countries. The development itself cannot be carried out without the availability of electricity and fuel. Unfortunately, most of the electricity and transportation depend on fossil fuels, which will run out in the next 30 years. Besides its diminishing reserves, fossil fuels are the largest contributor to CO2 emissions in the world. To develop electricity from renewable energy, Indonesia needs to prepare its experts and operators through mid and high education to carry out research, operations and future development. This paper offers a road map for higher education and its direction of research and development in the field of renewable energy engineering.

Abstract

This paper discusses the design and construction of a solar powered generation system (PVs) in a 3-storey office building in the Bintaro area. The paper discusses the costs to build PVs, as well as an analysis of the value of investments using RETScreen Expert software. The calculation to get the PVs capacity is based on the area of ​​the roof and the electricity load of the office. This PV system will be integrated with the PLN electricity network in serving electricity loads in offices on each floor. The type of PV module has 305Wp capacity per module. The investment value is simulated with the assumption that battery units are replacemed every 3 years, repayment of the loan for 10 years with an advance of 50%, an interest rate of 5.75% and inflation of 3.28%. From the simulation we also obtained a comparison of investments between replacing the battery units once every 3 years with every 10 years, which became the basis for the decision of the PLTS owner to determine the scheme to be choiced.

Abstract

Sungai dengan kapasitas besar dan head rendah belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal sebagai alternatif pembangkit listrik yang ramah lingkungan, termasuk Sungai Cikeas yang berada dalam kawasan pengembangan hunian Podomoro Golf View (PGV) Cimanggis. Dengan penerapan teknologi turbin propeller head rendah yang dikembangkan oleh Pusat Penelitian Tenaga Listrik dan Mekatronik Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI), daya efektif masing-masing turbin sebesar 500 watt, Sungai Cikeas berpotensi membangkitkan listrik dengan daya efektif sebesar 8 kW, dengan menggunakan 16 unit turbin propeller. Kajian ini menganalisis tingkat ketahanan energi di Kantor Pemasaran PGV dengan penerapan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikro Hidro(PLTMH) dengan turbin propeller head rendah pada bendung Cikeas dikawasan PGV dari sudut pandang ketahanan energi. Penilaian akan dilakukan atas 4 (empat) aspek ketahanan energi yaitu availibility, accessibility, affordibility dan acceptability, berdasarkan definisi ketahanan energi dalam Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 79 (PP No. 79) tahun 2014 tentang “Kebijakan Energi Nasional”. Hasil analisis ketahanan energi didapat: aspek availability dengan indikator ketersediaan listrik: Perseroan Terbatas Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) = 0.999, PLTMH = 0.6; aspek accessability dengan indikator jarak dari sumber energi ke beban: PLN = 0.84, PLTMH = 0.7; aspek affordability dengan indikator harga satuan energi listrik: PLN = 0.89, PLTMH = 0.95; aspek accessability dengan dua indikator, yaitu emisi gas karbon dioksida (CO2): PLN = 0.12, PLTMH = 1, dan objek pariwisata: PLN = 0.96, PLTMH = 0.99.
