Abstract

Pemasangan atraktor efektif mengumpulkan cumi-cumi.

Abstract

Based on ship accident report data, during 2016-2020 there were 65 cases of ship accidents reported. The occurrence of a capsized ship is caused by poor ship stability or the main dimensions of the ship that are not in accordance with its designation. This study aims to identify the main dimensions and analyze the stability of the troll liner used by fishermen in Wangi-Wangi. The data collection technique used was accidental sampling. The results showed that the troll liner at Wangi-Wangi had the main dimension ratio values of L/B mostly (90,37%) in accordance with the reference values, the overall B/D ratio values (100%) were in accordance with the range of reference values, and the value of the L/D ratio is only a small portion (21,39%) within the reference range. The troll liner at Wangi-Wangi have a positive stability arm (GZ) value so that they have the ability to return to their original (stable) position after experiencing a tilt. The GZ value of the ship is directly proportional to the size and condition of the ship's cargo, where the greater the size and condition of the ship's cargo, the greater the GZ value of the ship.

Abstract

The high production of tuna at PPS Nizam Zachman Jakarta increases working time and workload in unloading activities. Tuna unloading activities are manual and involve more than ten workers. On an average day, tuna unloading workers suffer an accident at work and complain of pain in the body caused by non-ergonomic working posture. This study aims to identify work postures in tuna unloading activities and the risks that may arise and identify pain complaints that arise because of tuna unloading activities at PPS Nizam Zachman Jakarta. The method used in this study is the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) and the Nordic Body Map questionnaire. Based on an assessment using REBA method in the eight stages of the tuna unloading activity has a high-risk level of 62,5%, namely stages where there was an awkward posture while lifting heavy loads. Most of the 85 tuna unloading workers experienced a first complaint rate of 94% on the back and 85% on the waist, a form of musculoskeletal injury due to awkward posture. Recommendations for work postures that can be given to reduce the risk of injury and prevent work accidents use the diagonal lift technique.

Abstract

Karang Jeruk waters is a coral reef ecosystem conservation area located in Larangan Hamlet (Munjungagung Village, Tegal Regency in Central Java Province) which has good fishery resources. The most common fishing gear in Karang Jeruk waters are anchovy seine net and mini purse seine. The use of portable FAD technology is expected to create fishing areas and anticipate the occurrence of degradation of fishing areas. The purpose of this activity was to determine fishermen's perceptions of the use of portable FAD innovations in Karang Jeruk waters, Tegal Regency. The research method was carried out using interview methods and experimental fishing activities. Fishermen's perception data was conducted by interview using a questionnaire to 50 fishermen in anchovy seine net and mini purse seine, with accidental sampling of respondents. All fisherman perceptions of portable FADs were grouped into 3 categories, most fishermen have a high level perception of 38 people (76%), a medium level of 11 people (22%), and a low level of only 1 person (2%). The use of portable FADs hads advantages including: high catch productivity, various types of catch, and a large number of fish fit for catching categories.
