Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas efek antimikroba ekstrak etanol Daun Bidara Laut (Ziziphus mauritiana Lam.) terhadap pertumbuhan Candida albicans dan Escherichia coli. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode difusi agar dimana paper disk direndam dengan yang berbeda-beda kemudian diletakkan pada media yang telah ditumbuhi bakteri dengan masa inkubasi ±24 jam pada suhu 37ºC. Hasil aktivitas antimikroba berdasarkan parameter luas zona hambat terhadap Candida albicans pada konsentrasi 1%b/v yaitu 26,5mm, 3%b/v yaitu 28,83, dan 9% b/v yaitu 34mm sedangkan terhadap Escherichia coli pada konsentrasi 1%b/v yaitu 11,33mm, 3%b/v yaitu 14,16, dan 9% b/v yaitu 15,66mm serta diameter kontrol negatif keduanya 6mm. Berdasarkan analisis statistik pada Anava menunjukkan ekstrak etanol daun Bidara Laut (Ziziphus mauritiana Lam.)antara konsentrasi 1% b/v, 3% b/v, 9% b/v dan kontrol negative dapat menghambat pertumbuhan Candida albicans dan Escherichia colidengan sangat nyata (Fh > Ft;α = 0,05).Kata kunci : Antimikroba, Daun Bidara Laut (Ziziphus mauritiana), Candida albicans, Escherichia coli.

Abstract

Daun kersen (Muntingia calabura L) memiliki aktivitas antibakteri. Kandungan kimia yang terkandung di dalamnya yang bersifat  antibakteri adalah flavonoid . Telah dilakukan penelitian sebelumnya menggunakan ekstrak daun kersen pada konsentrasi 10% dapat menghambat pertumbuhan streptococcus mutans. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sediaan pasta gigi ekstrak daun kersen kemudian dilakukan pengujian daya hambat dengan konsentrasi ekstrak daun kersen 5%, 7,5% dan 10% terhadap Streptococcus mutans. Pengujian daya hambat dilakukan dengan metode sumuran. Hasil uji daya hambat pasta gigi ekstrak daun kersen yang diperoleh dari konsentrasi ekstrak 5% dapat menghambat dengan rata-rata diameter zona hambatan 13,2 mm, konsentrasi ekstrak 7,5% dengan rata-rata diameter zona hambatan 15 mm dan konsentrasi 10 % dengan rata-rata diameter zona hambatan 17,1 mm .Dari hasil yang didapatkan menunjukkan kategori kuat sebagai antibakteri. Kata kunci : Daun kersen, pasta gigi, daya hambat, Streptococcus mutans

Abstract

Lama waktu tunggu pelayanan resep dapat mencerminkan suatu proses kerja dari tenaga farmasi dalam melakukan pelayanan yang disesuaikan dengan situasi dan harapan pasien. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas pelayanan resep obat berdasarkan waktu tunggu di Apotek Mina Medika Makassar ( Klinik Ratulangi Medical Centre ) pada bulan April tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif observatif yaitu penelitian dengan melakukan pengamatan secara langsung di tempat penelitian untuk mendapatkan data. Sampel penelitian adalah resep racikan dan non racikan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang didapat, waktu tunggu pelayanan resep obat berdasarkan jenis resep yaitu resep obat racikan dan obat jadi dapat dikatakan baik, karena masih memenuhi standar pelayanan minimal dibidang kesehatan pelayanan farmasi tahun 2008 yaitu dibawah 30 menit dengan waktu tunggu obat jadi 10,3 menit dan obat racikan 20,1 menit. Waktu tunggu pelayanan resep obat berdasarkan jumlah item obat berkualitas baik dengan waktu tunggu jumlah item obat lebih dari satu 13,6 menit, dan resep dengan jumlah satu item obat membutuhkan waktu tunggu 3,1 menit . Abstract

Daun andong merah (Cordyline fruticosa) (L) A Chev merupakan salah satu tanaman khas indonesia yang diketahui berkhasiat sebagai obat yang bekerja dalam proses penyembuhan luka. Daun andong merah mengandung saponin, sterioda, polisakarida. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh ekstrak daun andong merah (Cordyline fruticosa) (L) A Chev terhadap kecepatan penyembuhan luka secara topikal pada kelinci (Oryctolagus Cuniculus), sampel penelitian adalah 3 ekor kelinci (Oryctolagus Cuniculus) jenis kelamin jantan berat badan 3 kg. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 konsentrasi ekstrak 10% dan 15% serta kontrol negatif basis salep. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh diameter rata rata penyembuhan luka pada konsentrasi salep 10% pada hari ke 7 adalah 0,7cm dengan persentase penyembuhan luka5% dilihat dalam fase penyembuhan luka pada fase maturasi pada konsentrasi 15% pada hari ke 7adalah 1,06cm denan presentase penyembuhan luka 47% dilihat dalam fase penyembuhan luka pada fase poliferasi sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa salep ekstrak daun andoong merah dapat membantu menyembuhkan luka sayat dengan efek terbesar pada konsentrasi 10% Keywords: Andong merah, Salep, Luka sayat kelinci

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian uji kandungan klorin dalam pembalut wanita dan popok dewasa secara Spektrofotometri UV-Vis, untuk mengetahui banyaknya kandungan klorin pada pembalut wanita dan popok dewasa .Penelitian meliputi persiapan sampel dengan cara dihaluskan kemudian ditambahkan aquadest dan diamkan selama 30 menit yang berfungsi sebagai pelaurt untuk klorin, kemudia larutan yang diperoleh dianalisis. Analisis kualitatif dengan pereaksi Iodium dan pereaksi amilum dan penentuan kadar secara spektrofotometri UV-Vis menggunakan indicator DPD. Analisis kuantitatif Klorin secara spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang 522 nm, diperoleh kadar rata-rata klorin pada sampel pembalur wanita dan popok dewasa masing-masing yaitu untuk pembalut wanita 4,716 mg/g dan popok dewasa 2,666 mg/g .

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai uji efektivitas gel anti septic tangan ekstrak daun sirih (Piper betle L.) terhadap Staphylococcus aureus. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektivitas gel antiseptik tangan ekstrak daun sirih (Piper betle L.). Dengan cara metode difusi atau sumuran, dengan menggunakan 2 konsentrasi yang berbeda. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi 1 dan 2 menunjukkan adanya zona hambatan terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus

Abstract

Wedang uwuh is a typical Imogiri herbal drink which is very rich in benefits. Mahkota Dewa (Phaleria macrocarpa L.) is one of the herbal plants that has many benefits but the processing is not optimal. This study aims to find out how to make wedang uwuh combined with mahkota dewa in order to maximize the processing of mahkota dewa as well as to test of physical quality tests. The process of making simplicia is carried out by the stages of wet sorting, washing, chopping, drying, dry sorting and then weighing based on the concentration of adding the crown of the god as much as 5% and 10%. The preparation was then prepared to perform a physical quality test by extracting each preparation using 85 ml of boiling water and then allowed to stand for 15 minutes. The extracted preparations were then tested for physical quality with the following parameters: Organoleptic test including aroma, color and taste, pH test and viscosity test. The results of this study indicate that in the basic formula, the 5% concentration formula and the 10% concentration formula can be combined with wedang uwuh and the physical quality test meets the physical quality test requirements.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the manufacture and quality test of the peel off gel mask preparation from papaya juice (Carica papaya L.) Moringa leaves were taken from the home garden area on Jl. Bontoduri 6 N0.14 C, then made papaya juice, after the juice was produced. fruit. Then made a mask base, then added papaya juice. And carried out ornanoleptic testing, pH, dry time, and homogeneity. The results showed that the pH with a concentration of 15% = 6.14 Concentration of 20% = 6.24. Testing Dry time where the concentration of 15% = 20 minutes and 20% = 24 minutes. Organoleptic testing of simplicia is thick, orange in color, has no odor. And testing the homogeneity of both concentrations is homogeneous

Abstract

Lemongrass plants herbs is known as the scent and it has fragrant and invigorating , also has a volatile oil content . The womb on oil volatile lemongrass wangi ( Cymbopogon nardus L ) there are three components namely sitronelal , sitronelol and geraniol that has the potential as an insecticide vegetable ( repellent mosquito ). The purpose of this research is to produce preparation spray leaves and stems lemongrass wangi ( Cymbopogon nardus L ) as anti mosquito culex s.p . Spray used to the way sprayed without direct contact with the hand so that the contamination microorganism more low . Spray herbaceous lemongrass fragrant ( Cymbopogon nardus L ) made into 4 formulation with the f0 0 %  individually concentration , f1 % 10 , f2 % 15 , 20 % f3 . The stability physics spray herbaceous fragrant cymbopogon nardus lemongrass ( i ), covering the organoleptik the ph of refuse and the mosquito. The evaluation results f0 test ph , formula one , f2 , f3 order is 5 .The results of the power turning mosquito shows that power turning more effective where the f3 with a capacity of turning of 69,07 % . This proved that spray a volatile oil of citronella fragrant ( Cymbopogon nardus L )) can be used as repellent.

Abstract

Chili pepper (Capsicum sp.) known to contain vitamin C which can act as a source of antioxidants. The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of antioxidant activity of ethanol extract of chili katokkon (Capsicum chinense Jacq.) and Vitamin C. The extraction method used is maceration. Antioxidant activity was determined using the DPPH method, which then measured the absorbance using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer and then repeated up to three times. The value of IC50 chili katokkon in replication 1 is 51.2678 µg/mL, replication 2 is 51.2275 µg/mL, and replication 3 is 50.2991 µg/mL, so that the average value of IC50 chili katokkon is 50.9315 Keywords : Katokkon Chili, antioxidant, IC50 value. while the IC50 value of vitamin C in replication 1 is 6.1926 µg/mL, replication 2 is 6.3202 µg/mL, and replication 3 is 6.2253 µg/mL, so that the average value of IC50 vitamin C is 6.24603 µg/mL. based on these results, it was concluded that the level of antioxidant power of katokkon chili is at a strong level (50-100 µg/mL) while vitamin C is at a very strong level (50 µg/mL).
