Abstract

Religious intolerance in Indonesia is quite high. In 2013 there were 245 violations of religious freedom. The attitude of intolerance found in the educational environment affects the learning outcomes of student. Research purposes: 1) To find out that learning using the LKS assisted NHT method has achieved completeness 2) to determine the effect of tolerance on the learning outcomes. 3) To find out changes in student learning achievement by applying the LKS assisted NHT method. Researchers used quantitative experimental research with the instruments: self-assessment questionnaires and knowledge tests. The results average score of tolerance assessment was 82.37 indicating that the LKS assisted NHT method was effective in increasing tolerance and PAK learning outcomes. The posttest score increased with a class average of 86.37. The regression test showed a positive effect of tolerance on learning achievement of 84%. The LKS assisted NHT method is effective in increasing PAK tolerance and learning achievement.

Abstract

The three pillars of education namely family, school and community are the foundation for building today's educational civilization. The purpose of this research is to realize the role of parents and teachers as companions instilling values ​​to advance the dignity and nobility of the nation. The method used by researchers is a qualitative approach studying the literature and also using interviews, as supporting data. The findings, departing from some of the theories put forward in the introductory section, the researcher analyzed in several social media, newspapers, magazines and interviews found that relevant and creative methods in accompanying children to instill values ​​must match the reality they experience every day Together with parents in the family, teachers at school and friends in the community, it really helps students find their identity. Accompanying while instilling value, not only an expression but an action. Therefore the behavior of students needs to be analyzed, studied further and needs to be re-evaluated. From the results of the interviews, of these three pillars, the education of children in the family is under the responsibility of the parents. Meanwhile, education in schools is seen as a means of further education communication from within the family. Similarly, education in society is an integral part of the two pillars Abstrak: Tiga pilar pendidikan yakni keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat menjadi fondasi membangun peradaban pendidikan masa kini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menyadari peran orangtua dan guru sebagai pendamping menanamkan nilai -nilai untuk memajukan martabat dan keluhuran bangsa. Metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah pendekatan kualitatif mempelajari literatur kepustakaan dan juga menggunakan wawancara, sebagai data pendukung. Hasil temuan, berangkat dari beberapa teori yang dikemukakan pada bagian pendahuluan, peneliti menganalisa dalam beberapa media sosial, koran, majalah dan hasil wawancara ditemukan bahwa metode yang relevan dan kreatif dalam mendampingi anak-anak untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai harus sesuai realitas yang dialaminya setiap hari bersama dengan orangtua dalam keluarga, guru di sekolah dan teman-teman masyarakat, sangat membantu peserta didik menemukan jati dirinya. Mendampingi sambil menanamkan nilai, tidak hanya sebuah ungkapan tetapi perbuatan. Karena itu prilaku peserta didik perlu dianalisanya, mengkajinya lebih jauh dan perlu dievaluasi kembali. Dari hasil wawancara, dari tiga pilar ini pendidikan anak dalam keluarga berada di bawah tanggung jawab orang tua. Sementara itu, pendidikan di sekolah dipandang sebagai sarana komunikasi pendidikan lanjutan dari dalam keluarga. Demikian pula pendidikan di masyarakat merupakan bagian integral dari kedua pilar itu

Abstract

Low learning results as a result of the school system's inefficiency and slowness. It seems like grade II students at SD Kanisius Tlogosari Kulon still have a low feeling of responsibility. Many of them are still tardy to class and afraid to ask questions, which causes them to not understand the lessons that are being taught. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of the jigsaw technique and module-assisted learning on students' learning outcomes for PAK learning. Experimental quantitative research is the name for this kind of study. One group pretest and posttest study design is employed. Tests and questionnaires are used as data collection strategies. In this study, descriptive statistical analysis was used for data analysis. 91.77 is the average score for student responsibility, according to data analysis. The average pre-test score was 59.23, and the average post-test score was 88.85. The N-Gain Test classifies the coefficient of determination R2 at 0.783 = 78.3% as high. Using an independent sample t test, test your hypotheses. In the statistical analysis of the responsibility questionnaire, the Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 = 0% <0.05%. From these data, it can be concluded that the use of the jigsaw method assisted by modules is considered effective in learning Catholic Religious Education (PAK) in class II of Kanisius Tlogosari Elementary School.

Abstract

The tendency of students to form circles often causes conflict, lack of self-confidence, difficulty socializing, low learning outcomes, and intolerance. This study used a quantitative experimental research method. The research sample was students of class VII SMP Yohannes XXIII Semarang. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the effect, increase in learning outcomes, and the effectiveness of using the module-assisted GI method on learning (PAK) on learning outcomes. The instrument used documentation, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed that the average pretest score was 39, posttest was 84, and the difference was 45. The average learning achievement exceeded KKM 78 with an increase in score reaching 1213. The results of global diversity attitudes and student achievement showed that by 87.3%. This means that the attitude of global diversity of students influences as much as 87.3%. The mean of the N-gain test is 76.2 which is in the very good and effective category. It can be concluded that the module-assisted GI method is effective in learning, able to increase: global diversity attitude values, learning outcomes, and is effective in increasing global diversity attitudes.

Abstract

The background of this research arises from the existence of problems in learning models that do not stimulate students to think critically, such as monotonous teaching methods. To overcome this, the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model is considered as a potential solution to improve students' critical reasoning abilities. This study aims to improve critical reasoning abilities and achieve student learning outcomes in Catholic Religious Education subjects. In achieving these objectives, this study used a descriptive approach through classroom action research methods with two cycles. The results of the first cycle can be seen from the student scores, there are 3 students who belong to the proficient category, 6 students in the proficient category, and 5 students in the decent category. Even so, the level of students' critical reasoning is not optimal, only reaching 72.5%. However, in the second cycle there was a significant increase with 11 students in the proficient category, 3 students in the proficient category, and 1 student in the feasible category. This indicates a significant improvement in students' understanding of learning material after implementing PBL with the help of Student Worksheets (LKPD). Students' critical thinking skills also increased, reaching 82%. The implications of these findings confirm that an approach that encourages active student participation through PBL with the support of LKPD has a positive impact on increasing critical reasoning abilities and student learning achievement.
