Abstract

This research is motivated by the absence of a virtual laboratory-based practicum module to be used as a mandatory guide for students. So that students find it difficult to understand the concepts of physics related to the photoelectric effect practicum, especially in this pandemic era. This research aims to develop a Virtual Laboratory-Based Photoelectric Effect Practicum Module Using a Discovery Learning Model. This study is a research and development study using the 4D research model adapted from the Thiagarajan model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of the study for students got an average value of 82.75%, so that the module was included in the feasible / valid category. And in response 57.35% of students chose very useful (SB), 42.65% of students chose useful (B), and no student chose less useful (KB) and not useful (TB). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the product has been produced in the form of a photoelectric effect practicum module based on a virtual laboratory using a discovery learning model with good and proper qualifications.

Abstract

This research is quasi-experimental research aimed at determining whether Jigsaw's collaborative learning has a positive effect on the learning outcomes of Grade X SMK Negeri 2 PINRANG (on straight motion material) students. The research design was "Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design". The variables in this study are the learning model and the learning outcomes. The independent variable in this study is cooperative jigsaw learning and direct learning, while the dependent variable is student learning outcomes. The population in this study were all grade X SMK NEGERI 2 PINRANG students. The sample in this study consisted of two classes, namely Class X APH1 as the experimental class and Class X APH2 as the control class with the sampling technique by random sampling. There are 12 students in class X APH1 and 12 students in class X APH2 in each class. The results of the analysis show that the mean of the experimental class is 75 and the control class is 42.5 with a standard deviation of 9.29 and 15, respectively. The results of the SPSS analysis using the t-test show that the value of t => is t table = 6.38> 1.717144. Therefore tcount> ttable means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

For better education it is necessary to use information and communication technologies to support the learning process and tools for quality assessment. The Quizizz application is an online based learning assessment tool that can be used by teachers and students. Newton's law of motion was examined using the Quizizz application learning assessment tool. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the Quizizz evaluation tool was effective in improving students' learning outcomes using Newton's law of motion. This study was carried out on class X students of the SMA Negeri 1 Tondano with 21 respondents who use the Quizizz application as a learning assessment tool. The design of this study used the One Group Pretest-Posttest design and the tools used were Pretest and Posttest using the Quizizz application learning assessment tool. This research begins with the pretest, the implementation of the physics learning with Zoom Meeting and ends with the post-test. The results of this study gave an average score of 29.90 pretest and posttest scores of 85.10. The results of the N-Gain test give a value of 79.0985, as can be seen from the categorization of the effectiveness interpretation with a percentage> 76%. So it can be said that learning Newton's law of motion with the Quizizz learning assessment tool falls into the effective category.

Abstract

Thin films based on azobenzene molecular are known as responsive molecular, which are easy to deform when exposed to light or interact whit other molecular. Fabrication of Sudan III thin film for sensor technology application has been carried out bay using PVD method. The physical structure crystallinity of thin film have been investigate by using XRD method. In this paper would be describe the variable distance between the crystal plane, the crystal size, and the crystal index at sudan III in the form of powder and thin film from vacuum evaporation. The optical properties of thin film Sudan III will also be discussed.
