Abstract

Modernization and globalization can erode the national identity if not addressed wisely, one of the nations identity is culture, while cultural elements that most prominent is arts. Puppet art is original art from Indonesia, but nowadays puppet is only in demand by the elderly person and many young children not familiar with puppets, in fact it is they who will preserve the culture of this nation. Puppet Art Creation Learning is a learning which is expected to increase the childrens interest toward puppet. The Learning is implemented in accordance with the early childhood development. This research is using an experimental method. The study population was all students in Pertiwi Ngargomulyo kindergarten. The sampling technique that used is purposive sample technique. The sample collection at Pertiwi Ngargomulyo kindergarten class B1 and B2 Pertiwi Ngargomulyo kindergarten.It can be seen from the table 4.10 Shows there is an increased mean pretest value that originally 102,50 into 139,97 resulting in increased of the mean posttest amounted to 37,47. After being given a treatment, there is an increase in children’s interest, it seems from the mean (average) in the experimental group is 139,9. The t test calculation results obtained  value= 12,863 with sig value (2-tailed) < 0,05 so  is accepted. Based on these descriptions, it can be concluded that the giving of Puppet Art Creation Learning can provide significant improvement to the childrens interests.

Abstract

Learning music in kindergarten now experiencing rapid development, seen from the many music competitions in various categories. Learning music in a group that is often used for children's competition in which music Drumband because it has some benefits. By joining the race to make every kindergarten has its own methods to train their students. It also occurs in early childhood music education in the city of Salatiga. This study aims to explain the learning method Drumband rhythmic music for kindergarten children A, factor inhibitors and rhythmic in early childhood learning support Islam Tunas Harapan Salatiga. This study uses descriptive qualitative method. Research subjects in this study was the coach Drumband Islam Tunas Harapan early childhood and early childhood Principal Islam Tunas Harapan Salatiga. The validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The data analysis was done of data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Results obtained from this study is the learning method Drumband rhythmic music to children in early childhood kindergarten A Islam Tunas Harapan Salatiga is the method of demonstration, imitation method and method  drill. The method used coach interrelated and complementary. Coaches use strategies that prevent children tired and bored and alternated every meeting. Factors supporting the rhythmic music Drumband learning for kindergarten children in early childhood A Islam Tunas Harapan Salatiga is coaches, principals and teachers. Abstract

Children are the generation of local culture from previous generations who certainly love regional culture. One of the areas of the cultures that need to be preserved is the local language. Local language is also an area that reflect cultural heritage in its right. The use of Javanese language Banyumas dialect in the environment for a child's family is the local language preservation efforts from parents to children. The reality in the field of the use of the Javanese language with Banyumas dialect is now rarely used by parents of early childhood when communicating with children, especially in the family environment. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the use of the Banyumas dialect in the family environment for children age 5-6 years in Bojongsari Village, Bojongsari District, Purbalingga Regency. This research is a qualitative research, the researcher directly examine the source of data naturally and examine it as a key instrument. Data collection techniques use is observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. Data analysis techniques use the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that the Javanese language Banyumas dialect is still used in a family environment for children 5-6 years old. Besides that, Javanese language Banyumas dialect used as well as the everyday language among members of the family; parents with parents, parents with children, and children with children in hamlet 4, Bojongsari Village, Bojongsari District, Purbalingga Regency. Suggestions from the results of the study, which is for all family members to continue to preserve the local language (Javanese Banyumas dialect language) in the family environment by using the local language (Javanese Banyumas dialect), so that embedded love for local language from an early age.

Abstract

This research is conducted to analyze and encourage the process of drumband learning in group B children at TK Marsudirini Kanak-Kanak Jesus Semarang City. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The study is conducted at the TK Marsudirini Kanak-Kanak Jesus Semarang City. The research subjects used as data sources are the principal, the drumband assistant teacher, and the TK drumband trainer. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data are analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that drumband learning at TK Marsudirini Kanak-Kanak Jesus Semarang City is held every Wednesday by bringing one trainer from outside the school. The trainer uses lecture learning methods and demonstration methods. The difference that exists with other TK is the implementation of learning carried out in school hours, the rest of the drumband activities are the same as other schools. Children only follow the instructor?s instructions during the activity, and the drumband activities have been prepared by the teacher to fill the Christmas celebration held by the school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher's strategy in growing interpersonal intelligence of children participating in the drum band at  Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 2 Semarang Kindergarten School. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Research location in  Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 2 Semarang  Kindergarten School. Research subjects that are the source of data such as teacher, trainer, and child. Data collection of techniques in this study include: observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis of techniques used are: Interactive. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the teacher's strategy in growing interpersonal intelligence of the children of drum band participants is through habituation. The teachers educate, teach, direct, stimulate, motivate, and set a good example. Drum band learning at  Hj. Isriati Baiturrahman 2 Semarang Kindergarten School is held twice a week, on Thursday and Friday. Drum band activities can train discipline, train cohesiveness, change learning patterns and habits, train leadership, train cooperation, change character, can motivate yourself, and train to socialize. In this study, it can be said that drum band learning already contains interpersonal intelligence, then drum band learning can be used as a medium to support children's interpersonal intelligence. Abstract

Children have many abilities that continue to develop; there are musical abilities of children who also develop. At the Kintelan Semarang State Kindergarten there is a kolintang extracurricular to support the development of children's musical abilities, but not all children join the kolintang extracurricular. The aim of this study was to determine the musical ability of children who take kolintang extracurricular activities with children who do not take kolintang extracurricular activities at Kintelan Semarang State Kindergarten. This research uses quantitative research with comparative methods. The subject and population of this study were children of Class B of Kintelan Semarang State Kindergarten. The data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of the independent sample t-test, which was previously subjected to a prerequisite test, namely the normality and homogeneity tests. The results showed that children who took kolintang extracurricular activities got a minimum value of 86, a maximum score of 134, and an average value of 119.79, while children who did not take extracurricular kolintang received a minimum value of 70, a maximum value of 114, and an average value of 90.93. tcount > ttabel is 4,389> 1,701 and Sig <0.05 is 0,000 <0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant difference in the musical abilities of children who take kolintang extracurricular activities with children who do not take kolintang extracurricular activities. The suggestion of this research is that the teacher should motivate all children to be able to participate in kolintang extracurricular activities so that their musical abilities can develop optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences and increased knowledge about road safety for early childhood by implementing the game of the traffic snake in the Panti Puruhita Krapyak Kindergarten, West Semarang, Semarang. This research uses quantitative research in the form of Pre-Experimental Design (non-design) is a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was Group B students with a total of 44 students at the Panti Puruhita Krapyak Kindergarten. The instrument in this study was a scale of knowledge about road safety for early childhood. The sampling technique in this study uses random sampling. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used is the paired sample t-test. Based on the results of the statistical calculation of the t-test using paired sample t-test obtained sig (2-tailed) 0,000 <0.05 and the calculated t value of -28.421, so that the value of t-count (-28.421) <-t table (-2.045). It means that there are significant differences in knowledge about road safety for early childhood between before and after being treated. While the result of the percentage of the increase in knowledge about road safety is 81.09%, with a mean value of pre-test at 76.17 and post-test at 131.17, so the difference obtained is 55. It means that knowledge about road safety for early childhood experiences significant improvement after being given treatment through the game of Traffic Dragon Snake. Knowledge of traffic safety after being treated is higher than before being treated. It can be concluded that the game of the traffic snake is effective to increase knowledge about road safety for young childhood in Panti Puruhita Krapyak kindergarten, West Semarang, Semarang.
