Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan pembelajaran Geografi dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Jigsaw dengan media Flashcard. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian True Experimental Design dengan subjek penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik Random Sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X Sosial SMA Negeri 1 Kedungwuni yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data untuk penelitian yaitu teknik observasi, dokumentasi, tes, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar menggunakan metode pembelajaran jigsaw dengan media flashcard lebih baik dibanding dengan metode ceramah yaitu rata-rata hasil post test pada kelas eksperimen 77,44 dengan standart deviasi 5,98 dan rata-rata hasil post test pada kelas kontrol 71,84 dengan standart deviasi 11,97 Tanggapan siswa setelah pembelajaran Geografi menggunakan metode pembelajaran jigsaw dengan media flashcard berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 82,00 %. Berdasarkan penilaian aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu pada pertemuan pertama rata-rata persentase sebesar 74,00% pada pertemuan kedua sebesar 79,00 % dan pada pertemuan ketiga sebesar 82,00% yang berarti siswa sangat aktif sela This research aims to see how implementation of learning geography by appling jigsaw learning method with flashcard media. This is type of true experimental design with the subject of study taken by  using random sampling technique. Population in this research is all students of social 1st grade class in SMA N 1 Kedungwuni that consist of 4 class. The technique of collecting data that used in this research are techniques of observation, documentation, tests, and question form. The results of research show learning outcomes using method jigsaw with the flashcard media better than the conventional method, i.e. the average results of post test on experimental class 77,44 with standard deviation 5.98 and average results post test on the control class 71,84 with standard deviation 11,97. The responses of students after learning geography using jigsaw learning methods with the flashcard media on the category very well with the average percentage of 82,00%. Based on the result  of student learning activities has increased during the first meeting, in the first meeting the percentage of average 74,00 % in second meeting of 79,00 % and in third meeting of 82,00 % that means students are very active during learning geography.ma pembelajaran Geografi.

Abstract

Introduction: The most common dental and oral health problem in the world is dental caries. In Indonesia, as many as 89% of children under 12 years old suffered from dental and oral disease. Lack of dental knowledge and awareness can be overcome by conducting intensive dental and health education to the community. 3D Dentobox is a simple three-dimensional game designed to deliver dental and oral health messages, including dental hygiene, ways to overcome dental health problems and some dental games. 3D Dentobox is an educational media prevention of caries in children. Methods: The method used was Quasi experiment with the type of pretest and posttest control group design. The sample of this study was 30 children aged 9-12 years old. The research subjects filled out a questionnaire containing information on the level of knowledge, attitudes, and actions in caries prevention efforts followed by outreaching to the media and 3D props Dentobox and was given back the same questionnaire to be filled. Data were collected and evaluated using Guttman scale and was analyzed by paired T test. Results: The results showed that the average level of knowledge, changing attitudes, and actions before and after use 3D Dentobox increased significantly (p<0.05). Conclusion: 3D Dentobox can be used as a media of education to prevent dental caries in children.
