<![CDATA[Effective school management is an important factor in improving the quality of education in primary schools. The principal has a very important role in leading and managing the school to achieve the desired educational goals. This study aims to gather information from literature studies related to improving school management by principals in elementary schools. The literature study was carried out by collecting and analyzing relevant articles that discussed school management, school principals, and elementary schools. Some of the key findings from this literature study are as follows: Strong Leadership: An effective school principal is a leader who has a clear vision, mission, and strategy for managing the school. Resource Management: Principals must be able to manage existing resources in schools. Effective Communication: An effective principal must have good communication skills, both in verbal and non-verbal communication. Improving the Quality of Teaching: Principals should focus on improving the quality of teaching in schools. They must monitor, evaluate, and guide teachers to improve the quality of learning in the classroom. Plus, the principal. Principals must build good cooperation with teachers, staff, students, parents, and other related parties. They must be able to motivate and involve stakeholders in decision making, program implementation, and evaluation of educational outcomes in schools. This research concludes that principals who are effective in school management can play an important role in improving the quality of education in elementary schools.
