Abstract

The results of Riskesdas in 2018 showed that 95.5% of Indonesia's population aged five years and over consume less vegetable and fruit than 5 portions a day. This study was an observational study with a sample of 104 teenagers. The results of this study indicate that the majority of teenagers in SMP Negeri 2 Denpasar have sufficient knowledge of 52.0%. The level of consumption of teenage vegetable a day all included in the category of less than 100% and the level of consumption of fruit a day of teenagers mostly included in the category of less than 64.4%. Distribution of vegetable consumption level based on the knowledge level that all adolescents are 100% with less vegetable consumption level most have enough knowledge of 52.0%. The distribution of juvenile fruit consumption level based on the knowledge level is 37 people (35.6%) with sufficient fruit consumption level most have good knowledge 89.2%, and as many as 67 people (64.4%) with less fruit consumption level most have sufficient knowledge 74.6%. There is no tendency between the knowledge level with the consumption of vegetable in adolescents, where adolescents with good knowledge are not followed by adequate vegetable consumption, while there is a tendency between the knowledge level with fruit consumption in adolescents, where adolescents with good knowledge followed by sufficient fruit consumption. It is recommended that teenagers ask their parents to provide vegetable and fruit in the family menu every day. Schools need to create programs that support students to consume vegetable and fruit.Keywords: knowledge, consumption vegetable and fruit.

Abstract

Fish is a food source of animal protein. Fish contain unsaturated fatty acids in the form of omega-3, EPA, and DHA which can improve children's intelligence and improve academic abilities. Learning achievement is the mastery of knowledge and skills that are developed in subjects, usually indicated by the value of the test given by the teacher. The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between the level of consumption of fish and learning achievement at SDN 8 Padang Sambian Kaja, Denpasar. This study uses observational methods with a cross sectional design. The independent variable in this study was the level of fish consumption and the dependent variable learning achievement. The instrument used was sample identity, the SQ-FFQ fish consumption questionnaire. The sample in this study were grade IV and V students of SDN 8 Padang Sambian Kaja with a total of 70 samples. The data obtained were analyzed using Chi-square test. Based on the results of the Chi-square test the relationship between fish consumption and learning achievement obtained significant results, namely p = 0.37 or (p 0.05), the meaning proved to be no relationship between fish consumption and learning achievement.

Abstract

Anemia is a state of hemoglobin (Hb) in the blood lower than the normal value for groups of people according to age and sex. Nutritional anemia can be caused by a lack of nutrients that play a role in the formation of hemoglobin namely iron, protein, vitamin C. Based on Basic Health Research data (Riskesdas, 2013) there are 21.7% of the population with hemoglobin levels that are less than normal with a proportion of 20, 6% in urban areas and 22.8% in rural areas and 18.4% in males and 23.9% in females. The type of research is observational research with cross sectional design. This research was conducted at Kediri Tabanan 1 Public High School in February-May 2019 by searching for samples of 46 samples. The types of data collected include primary data on sample identity and secondary data, namely consumption patterns using the SQ-FFQ form. This study aims to describe the consumption patterns and anemia status female students Kediri 1 Public High School, Tabanan. Anemic status was based on the type of female food which was not as varied as 41.30% and varied 58.70%, anemia status based on the amount of protein consumption was less as much as 34.79% and good 65.21%, anemia status based on the amount of iron consumption less as much as 73.92% and good 26.08%, anemia status based on the amount of vitamin C consumption less as much as 53.65% and good 54.35%, anemia status based on frequency of use of female food ingredients in the category often as much as 73.91% and rarely 26.09%.Keywords: Consumption pattern, anemia, adolescence

Abstract

In Bali, lack of fruit and vegetable consumption in adolescents reaches 97,5%. This study aims to determine the pattern of vegetable and fruit consumption, sports activities and the level of fitness of students in SMP Negeri 3. This research was conducted at Mengwi Badung State Middle School 3 in May 2019. This type of research was observational with a cross sectional design, the population in this study were all eighth grade students. The number of samples is 88 samples. Data on physical fitness levels were collected by carrying out two fitness tests namely a 50 meter fast run and 60 seconds sit-ups. The consumption pattern data is collected by conducting interviews using the SQ-FFQ form. Sports activity data was collected by filling out questionnaires directly by the sample. The results of this study are known to be the majority of the sample (77.3%) including the type of consumption of less vegetables, the frequency of sample vegetable consumption was mostly (38.6%) less, and the amount of consumption of vegetable samples (100%) is less. Most types of fruit consumption (84.1%) are sufficient, the frequency of sample fruit consumption was mostly (51.1%) good, and the amount of consumption of sample fruit was mostly (76.1%) less. The sample sports activities were mostly (52.3%) moderate. The sample physical fitness level was mostly (81.8%) good. There was no trend between the type, frequency, and amount of vegetable consumption with physical fitness. There was no tendency between the type, frequency, and amount of fruit consumption with physical fitness. There is a tendency between sports activities with physical fitness levels.Keywords: Vegetable Consumption, Fruit, Sports Activities, Physical Fitness
