Abstract

Masalah gizi balita di Indonesia saat ini yaitu gizi kurang dan lebih. Guru dan sekolah dapat berperan dalam memantau pertumbuhan anak prasekolah melalui pengukuran antropometri secara berkala pada anak dini untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan perkembangan siswa-siswi. Namun guru PAUD (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini) belum pernah mendapatkan pelatihan pengukuran status gizi sehingga perlu dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah mencegah malnutrisi (gizi kurang dan lebih) pada anak prasekolah melalui pelatihan pengukuran status gizi pada guru PAUD. Metode kegiatan yaitu pelatihan  meliputi cara mengukur tinggi badan dan berat badan serta menilai status gizi, yang dilaksakan selama 2 hari (9-10 Juni 2021) pada 7 orang di TK Negeri 1 Pajangan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Alat yang digunakan yaitu timbangan digital, microtoise dan buku standar antropometri. Evaluasi pelatihan dengan menghitung skor keterampilan pengukuran tinggi badan dan penimbangan berat badan, serta menghitung reliabilitas inter-rater (guru) dalam pengukuran tinggi badan. Uji statistik reliabilitas inter-rater menggunakan Intraclass Correlation Coefficients (ICC) dan ANOVA. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan keterampilan mengukur berat badan dan tinggi badan  yaitu sangat baik  dengan rerata skor sebesar 95,4%, dan reliabilitas inter-rater (guru) dalam pengukuran tinggi badan sebesar 0,61 yang artinya cukup konsisten serta tidak ada perbedaan antar guru dalam mengukur tinggi badan subyek (p >0,05). Guru PAUD terlatih perlu terus diberdayakan dalam kegiatan rutin pengukuran antropometri di lingkungan sekolah dalam upaya pencegahan malnutrisi pada anak prasekolah. Kata kunci: Anak prasekolah, antropometri, berat badan, status gizi, tinggi badan.

Abstract

Stunting children are faced with various health problems and child development. Mothers as primary caregivers are expected to have a good awareness and understanding of the care of their children. The current condition with the COVID-19 outbreak will also directly impact the health quality of stunting children. The problem of stunting children requires integrated education efforts with multi-sectoral involvement and family participation. This PKM activity was carried out through several stages of preparation, training and evaluation of activities for 165 health cadres and 105 families with stunting children in Guwosari village, Pajangan, Bantul. PKM activities in the form of training on the manufacture of PMT for toddlers made from local food; Stimulation, Detection, and Early Intervention (SDIDTK) training for children; and health promotion training. The results of PKM activities have a social impact on increasing the knowledge and skills of health cadres and families; In addition, indirectly that the quality of health and growth and development of stunting children is maintained, then community activities in this case families with stunting children in the utilization of health services because of illness problems in children can be minimized, so that the family economy will be maintained for the use of other needs. Sustainability of this PKM program, that the role of health cadres in handling stunting requires ongoing assistance and evaluation from the Guwosari Village Head, the Health Office and the local Community Health Center.

Abstract

The development of a mung bean-based dawet functional drink with supplementation of tofu waste (okara), is an alternative for providing protein-rich functional drinks based on local potential. By considering various potentials and advantages, such as high nutritional content, use of local ingredients, natural composition, absence of use of preservatives, relatively cheap production costs, and easy availability of ingredients, the innovation of mung bean-based dawet functional drinks with the addition of okara flour is promising as a an interesting product to develop further. The aim of the research was to determine the effect of tofu waste (okara) flour supplementation in mung bean-based dawet functional drinks on sensory characteristics. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with the addition of tofu waste flour, P1 = 10%, P2 = 15%, P3 = 20%, and substitution of mung bean flour with the proportion of rice flour : mung bean flour P1 = 70% : 30% , P2 = 50% : 50%, P3 = 30% : 70%. The most preferred Dawet variant has a special composition, consisting of 30% tofu waste flour, 50% rice flour and 50% mung bean flour. The panelists gave the highest marks to this variant, indicating that the combination of ingredient proportions provided the most satisfying and desirable sensory experience in terms of texture, taste, color and aroma.

Abstract

Obesity can have a negative impact on health, and chronotype, which includes an individual's preference for bedtime, wakefulness, eating, and other activities, becomes a relevant factor in this context. Chronotype was studied using the Eveningness-Morningness questionnaire developed by Horne & Ostberg (1976), in the questionnaire there were 34 multiple-choice question items and each question had a score which could later be categorized into 2, evening type and morning type. The validity and reliability of questionnaires are crucial aspects in research to ensure that the measurement instruments used are reliable and provide accurate results. Validity reflects the extent to which the questionnaire is able to precisely measure the variables desired by the researcher. Questionnaire validity tests can be performed by applying statistical methods such as Pearson Product Moment to evaluate the extent of correlation between questionnaire scores and related variables. The use of the Pearson product moment correlation coefficient in validity tests allows the determination of validity by involving a comparison between r count and r table, with values close to 1 indicating a higher level of validity. Reliability test using Alpha Cronbach on the Morningness Eveningness Questionnaire with the decision that the value of the Alpha Cronbach coefficient ≥ r table (0.6) indicates the reliability of the questionnaire. In conclusion, the Eveningness-Morningness questionnaire proved valid and reliable in measuring chronotype in adolescents aged 15-17 years.

Abstract

Produksi sayur saat masa panen di Dusun Nepen, Kabupaten Magelang dapat mencapai 2 ton per hari. Permasalahan utama yang timbul akibat tingginya angka panen berdampak pada limbah sayuran yang tidak dikelola dengan baik oleh petani maupun masyarakat Dusun Nepen sehingga menimbulkan permasalahan kesehatan. Tim KKN Desa Sutopati 1 berupaya untuk mencegah terjadinya permasalahan kesehatan di Dusun Nepen melalui pengolahan limbah sayur organik dengan metode biopori yaitu memanfaatkan pipa paralon yang dilubangi pada bagian tutup dan badannya sebagai jalan masuk mikroorganisme untuk mengurai limbah-limbah sayur yang telah dimasukan ke dalam pipa. Hasil penguraian limbah tersebut memakan waktu selama tiga bulan agar dapat dimanfaatkan kembali sebagai pupuk bagi masyarakat Dusun Nepen yang mayoritas bekerja sebagai petani sayur/petani kebun. Metode dalam penelitian ini dibagi menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu tahap identifikasi masalah, persiapan, dan pelaksanaan. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sumber data primer yaitu wawancara dan observasi dengan narasumber sementara data skunder diperoleh melalui jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan tulisan-tulisan lain yang memiliki relevansi dan telah terakreditasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengolahan limbah organik dengan metode biopori di Dusun Nepen merupakan langkah efektif untuk mengatasi permasalahan limbah sayuran dan sampah organik lainnya serta membutuhkan partisipasi aktif dari masyarakat agar program ini memiliki keberlangsungan.
