Abstract

Education is process of changing the attitudes and behavior of a person group in effort to mature humans. The problem this study is low student learning outcomes due to lack of media. The aim of this research is to produce valid, practical and effective Pop-up Book media. This research uses the type of research and development (research and development). ADDIE development model has five stages, namely: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Types of data taken from the development Pop-up book media are qualitative and quantitative data. The instrument used this study, validation of the Pop-up Book media, the practicality instrument Pop-up Book media, the effectiveness instrument the Pop-up book media. data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and questionnaires (questionnaire). Analysis of data in research using analysis of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The results this study are validation, practicality and effectiveness, so the following results can be obtained: The validity of the pop-up book learning media assessed by the validator, totaling 3 people, obtained a percentage of 94.7% in the very valid category, the pop-up book learning media is feasible for used and in accordance with the provisions of SDN 308/VI Rantau Suli II. Practicality is assessed from the teacher response questionnaire and student response questionnaire. The teacher response questionnaire was 96% in the very practical category, the student response questionnaire was 99.71% in the very practical category, so based this analysis it was concluded that pop-up book media was very practical. Furthermore, the effectiveness assessed from the results of the Reading Ability test obtained a percentage of 84.21% in the very effective category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulty of students understanding special social studies learning material, difficulties in choosing suitable media for the material are still experienced by educators so that it influences student learning outcomes. This study intends to develop interactive learning videos on social studies content assisted by the kineMaster grade V SD application that are valid, practical and effective. The research method used is research (R&D) Research and development. The research model used is the ADDIE Model with stages (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation). The five stages are carried out through needs analysis, curriculum analysis, and character analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the validity of the interactive video media was obtained from 3 expert validators, indicating that the interactive video media obtained an average of 85.86% in the very valid category, the results of the interactive video practicality were assessed from the educator's response questionnaire and students to the interactive video, totaling 1 teacher and 14 students in class V at SDN No 21/ VI Rantau Suli, obtained an average of 92.94% categorized as very practical. The effectiveness of interactive videos obtained an average of 84.16% categorized as very effective. Thus it can be concluded that the interactive videos that have been made are very valid, practical, and effective for use in class V SDN No 21/ VI Rantau Suli.

Abstract

The background of this research is because they only received teaching modules from the government, but no one has developed teaching modules in schools. Elementary School SDN 10 Sitiung really needs the development of teaching modules with the help of Canva in the subject of natural sciences in the independent curriculum for grade IV elementary schools. Therefore, in an effort to overcome these problems, this study developed a teaching module with the help of Canva for the Science Subject in the Independent Curriculum for Grade IV Elementary Schools with valid and practical criteria. This type of research is development. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) research using the ADDIE development model which consists of several stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The test subjects were class IV educators at SDN 10 Sitiung. The assessment instrument is in the form of validation and practicality sheets. The assessment instrument was validated by three validators, content validator, language validator and graphic validator, then practice sheets were determined by practitioners. The results of the validity of the Teaching Module carried out by three validators obtained an average validity value of 83.1% classified as very valid, the average educator practicality value was 93.7% classified as very practical. It can be concluded that the Canva-assisted teaching module on science subjects in the independent curriculum for grade IV elementary schools can be applied in the learning process.
