Abstract

The number of complaints submitted by the public about the poor process of public services provided is a problem that must be immediately addressed by the Government. Along with the current advances in information technology, many institutions or agencies have begun to overhaul work systems in order to improve the quality of service to the public. This research aims to identify the application of information technology in improving the quality of public services. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods and the research sources used are secondary data, namely studies of literature, articles, journals, regulations, and sites on the internet related to this research. Validity data in study using triangulation. This study uses the theory of service quality, namely tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The findings of this study are that the application of information technology in improving the quality of public services has not fully run optimally, this can be seen from the dimensions of physical evidence (tangibles) that have not utilized digitalization in optimizing technology so that it requires space and storage space to store files and documents that are increasingly mounting. reliability in technology-based services, information and communication networks is very dependent on the weather, because if there is heavy rain or thunderstorms, the quality of the network becomes weak and even stops so that the process of administering (managing and processing) data becomes slow and can cause inaccuracies, power responsiveness is still not optimal because the services provided are still slow and require a long time

Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini guna memberikan solusi kepada mahasiswa dalam menjawab persoalan mengenai penulisan opini dan untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan keterampilan menulis opini yang baik dan benar. Sasaran kegiatan ini yaitu Mahasiswa Administrasi Negara semester IV dan semester VI di STISIPOL Candradimuka Palembang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan yang diselenggarakan secara offline yang diikuti sebanyak 25 peserta. Pelatihan dasar penulisan opini ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kapabilitas mahasiswa dan meningkatkan kualitas hasil tulisan mahasiswa. Evaluasi dalam kegiatan ini dilakukan pre-test dan post-test dan hasil yang didapati dari pelatihan ini bahwa dengan adanya pelatihan memberikan sumbangsih peningkatan kemampuan dan pengetahuan peserta (naik sebesar 30% dari semula 60% menjadi 90%). Diharapkan setelah mengikuti Pelatihan penulisan opini ini, peserta dapat tampil percaya diri dengan kemampuan menulis yang telah dimiliki dan menguasai teknik-teknik dasar penulisan opini agar dapat menghasilkan kualitas tulisan yang baik..

Abstract

The independent learning of independent campus concept is an innovative effort to provide students with greater flexibility and autonomy in planning and managing their education. This research aims to analyze how the curriculum is implemented in various universities and its impact on student learning experiences. This research method uses a mixed-methods approach. Data collection techniques in this research include surveys, interviews and document analysis at several universities that implement the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka curriculum. The research results show that the implementation of this curriculum varies between institutions, but generally creates opportunities for students to be more independent in choosing courses, determining learning paths, and combining learning experiences inside and outside the classroom. Observed positive impacts include increased student motivation, better mastery of the material, and more active involvement in the learning process. However, challenges such as the need to support students in planning their curriculum and assessing learning achievement remain a concern. Implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka curriculum in tertiary institutions requires continuous attention and adjustments to provide maximum benefits for students

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of national insight enhancement for students through the integration of Pancasila values into education. The focus is on fostering a profound understanding of the nation's identity and values among students. By incorporating Pancasila principles into the educational framework, this research aims to contribute to the development of well-rounded individuals who possess a strong sense of national consciousness. The study employs various educational strategies to engage students in critical thinking and reflection, fostering a holistic approach to citizenship. Through this initiative, it is anticipated that students will emerge as active participants in shaping the nation's future, grounded in the principles of Pancasila.

Abstract

Describing strategies for strengthening student character through communication and policy advocacy courses is the purpose of this research. This research uses qualitative descriptive. The subjects in this research are lecturers who teach communication and policy advocacy courses and students who have taken these courses at the Candradimuka College of Social and Political Sciences Palembang. The result of this research is that this course has been integrated with character education, but there needs to be development in RPS and there needs to be standardization in learning methods in order to improve the quality of character building of students who are taking the course and lecturers can also be role models for students both in attitude, speech and behavior delivered must show nationalism character in order to support optimal strengthening of student character.
