Abstract

The case in this study, that flexibility in soccer players is still not optimal. Due to the lack of movement in the back muscles of the players. The aim of this research is to see the effect of the Inch worm exercise on the flexibility of soccer players. This type of research is a quasi-experimental to see the effect of the form of training. The population in the study were all junior SSB Pekanbaru soccer athletes, totaling 17 people. The method of taking illustrations is by total sampling, which means that all populations used as illustrations so that the illustrations in this study totaled 17 people. The instrument in this research uses the Sit and Reach test to see flexibility. The analysis was attempted using the t-test. Based on the analysis of data and reviews, it can be concluded that there is an effect of inch worm training on flexibility in soccer players tested with a tcount of 6,738 ttable1. 748 at α = 0.05. This ensures that by doing the inch worm exercise, flexibility gets better results so that athletes can easily understand how to play soccer by producing good flexibility.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil riset peneliti menemukan bahwa atlet silat PAT BAN BU (Empat Banding Budi) masih memiliki kekurangan pada saat latihan dan pertandingan. Salah satunya adalah otot tungkai saat menendang yang membuat tendangan kurang optimal sehingga memungkinkan lawan untuk menendangnya. Untuk meningkatkan daya ledak otot tungkai, diperlukan latihan salah satunya dengan memberikan latihan double leg speet hop untuk meningkatkan daya ledak otot tungkai atlet. Metode penelitian meggunakan desain pre-test dan post-test dalam true experiment . Sampel riset 10 orang atlet putra, instrumen penilaian dengan Vertical power Jump test. Hasil studi pre-test berdasarkan analisis data tes asli menunjukkan hasil: tertinggi 55 dan terendah 39 dengan rata-rata 45,90 dan standar deviasi 5,20. Data distribusi frekuensi 10 sampel diketahui bahwa 3 orang (30%) pada rentang 42-47, kemudian 5 orang (50%) pada rentang 48-53, sedangkan 1 orang (10%) pada rentang 54-59 dan 1 orang (10%) pada rentang 60-65. Disimpulkan bahwa latihan double leg speet hop berpengaruh terhadap daya ledak otot tungkai pada atlet pencak silat PAT BAN BU (empat Banding Budi) yang dibuktikan dengan hasil berkisar antara 3,177 hingga 1,833 pada α0. .05.
