Abstract

The massive spread of Islamic da'wah today is closely related to the media and methods used. One form of implementing Islamic da'wah is through the art of wayang golek as well as increasing the value of community character. This study will discuss the form of implementation of Islamic da'wah values in the art of wayang golek as well as its influence in increasing the value of community character. This study uses a descriptive analysis method from library sources in answering the problems that exist in this study. The research found and revealed that the process of implementing Islamic da'wah values through the media of wayang golek still has a big influence on efforts to improve character in society, because in one wayang golek play there are many aspects that can be studied starting from the value of monotheism, social criticism, and influence in people's lives. Of course, various aspects that are conveyed through wayang golek must also be an effort to adjust to the development of the times so that the value of Islamic da'wah conveyed through the media of wayang golek is right on target and in accordance with the mission of increasing community character values. Research on the implementation of Islamic da'wah values through wayang golek media also recommends further research to be carried out to increase understanding of Islamic da'wah values and increase the character values of society in this modernization era.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to explain and describe the rise and decline of Muslims. Research was carried out in the literature where data sources came from articles, books, magazines and news. The results of this research illustrate that the era of Saladin Al-Ayyubi's leadership brought Islam towards a true revival in educational, thought, social, economic, and political aspects. Islam plays a crucial role in the nation's path. However, it turns out that Islam also has its own pluralism in the characteristics of its teachings, people, and beliefs. In the 19th century AD, the latest thinking in Islam emerged among Muslim thinkers who paid attention to the revival of Islam after experiencing a period of decline in all fields after the fall of the Abbasid Caliphate in Baghdad in 1258 AD. The impact of Hulagu's attack destroyed the buildings of Islamic civilization. At that time it was a beacon of world civilization. The emergence of the latest thoughts in Islam is motivated by 2 factors, namely external factors and internal factors. This research needs to be refined with further studies in the form of analysis of Muslim unity to achieve victory through more comprehensive data sources.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena adanya berbagai tafsiran mengenai konsep pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep pendidikan Islam dalam Al-Qur’an perspektif tafsir Ibnu Katsir. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian ini yakni pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan serta tafsir tematik. Kemudian data dihimpun dari berbagai sumber yang relevan seperti Al-Qur’an, buku, dan artikel ilmiah yang selanjutnya dilakukan proses validasi data dengan cara mengumpulkan, membaca, mengklasifikasi, dan menyimpulkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; pertama, tafsir Ibnu Katsir sangat relevan dalam membahas konsep pendidikan Islam; kedua, himpunan ayat yang membahas pendidikan Islam yaitu Q.S Al-Maidah: 67, Q.S An-Nahl: 125, Q.S An-Nahl: 125, Q.S Al-Baqarah: 31-32; Q.S Luqman: 11-19; ketiga, konsep pendidikan Islam perspektif Tafsir Ibnu Katsir terdiri dari beragam indikator seperti manusia sebagai pelaku pendidikan Islam, tauhid berperan penting dalam keberhasilan pendidikan Islam, metode dalam pendidikan Islam harus dilakukan secara baik dengan keteladanan dan nasihat sehingga dapat terinternalisasi dalam kehidupan, pendidikan Islam berperan penting dalam membentuk pribadi Islami, dan setiap muslim berkewajiban menuntut ilmu sepanjang masa. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa memahami konsep pendidikan Islam harus bersumber dari Al-Qur’an yang mana tauhid sebagai inti ajarannya dan ilmu-ilmu keislaman sebagai pendukungnya.
