Abstract

Teachers are key to improving the quality of education, they are at the central point of any educational reform effort. In order to become a professional person, teachers must meet the qualifications and competency standards of educators. The approach used in this study is a multidisciplinary approach that is: religious approach, juridical / normative, management, and sociological. This research was conducted in Makassar City of South Sulawesi Province. The place of research is in all Madrasah Tsanawiyah within the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Makassar City. The object population (target) of this research is all teachers of Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Makassar City consisting of 2 State Islamic Madrasah Tsanawiyah and 32 Private Madrasah Tsanawiyah. The teacher population of 34 Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Makassar City is 729 people. Research Results Shows that the professionalism of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in terms of; 1) Mastery of materials, structures, concepts, and scientific patterns that support the subjects being taught, 2) Mastery of Competency Standards and Basic Competencies, 3) Development of creativity-enhanced learning materials, and 4) Continuous professional development by taking reflective action yet Optimal because it is in the category of being.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) Presenting How to Use the Ahlak Akidah Learning Video Media in Class V MIS YAPIT Bontobiraeng, Gowa Regency. (2) Knowing How to Learn the Akhlak Aqidah in Class V MIS YAPIT Bontobiraeng, Gowa Regency. (3) Knowing whether the use of video media in learning the moral creed can shape the character of Class V students at MIS YAPIT Bontobiraeng, Gowa Regency. The type of research used is a type of qualitative research using a phenomenological approach. Methods of data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results in this study indicate that the use of video media for teaching moral principles in class V MIS YAPIT Bontobiraeng is divided into two stages, namely the preparation stage and the implementation stage. Aqidah Akhlak learning in class V MIS YAPIT Bontobiraeng in presenting learning is still based on the syllabus and lesson plans. The use of aqidah moral learning video media can shape the character of students in class V MIS YAPIT Bontobiraeng, it is clear that positive changes in student character, after using learning video media, students who are lazy or are often late, become diligent and are never late again due to the learning process. Its presentation is easy and fun to make students interested and excited in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to provide information about teachers as educators using library research research methods. In this study examines the position of teachers as educators. Teachers play a pivotal role in education and shaping the future of the younger generation. They are not just conveyors of knowledge, but also leaders, inspirers, and guides in students' learning journeys. In this abstract, we explore the significant role of teachers as educators and the impact they have on students. Through quality teaching, teachers become agents of change in transforming students' knowledge and skills. They also serve as facilitators of learning, creating an environment conducive to the development of critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Teachers act as mentors, helping students understand ethics, morals, and social values. They also serve as evaluators of students' progress, providing constructive feedback for further development. Moreover, teachers serve as role models in attitudes and behaviors expected from students. They act as liaisons between schools, students, and communities, collaborating with stakeholders to create a conducive learning environment. In shaping the future, teachers have an irreplaceable role in guiding students towards success and a better quality of life. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi tentang guru sebagai pendidik dengan menggunakan metode penelitian library research. Pada penelitian ini mengkaji posisi guru sebagai pendidik. Guru memiliki peran sentral dalam pendidikan dan membentuk masa depan generasi muda. Mereka tidak hanya menyampaikan pengetahuan, tetapi juga berperan sebagai pemimpin, inspirator, dan pemandu dalam perjalanan belajar siswa. Dalam abstrak ini, kami menyelidiki peran penting guru sebagai pendidik dan dampak yang mereka berikan pada siswa. Melalui pengajaran yang berkualitas, guru menjadi agen perubahan dalam mentransformasi pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa. Mereka juga berperan sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran, menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi siswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan pemecahan masalah. Guru juga berfungsi sebagai pembimbing, membantu siswa memahami etika, moral, dan nilai-nilai sosial. Mereka juga menjadi penilai kemajuan siswa, memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut. Selain itu, guru menjadi model peran dalam sikap dan perilaku yang diharapkan. Mereka juga berperan sebagai penghubung antara sekolah, siswa, dan komunitas, bekerja sama dengan pemangku kepentingan lainnya untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang baik. Dalam rangka membentuk masa depan, guru memiliki peran yang tak tergantikan dalam membimbing siswa menuju kesuksesan dan kualitas hidup yang lebih baik.
