Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana realitas hubungan manajemen konflik kepala madrasah dengan kinerja guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui hasil penyebaran kuesioner dengan menggunakan model skala likert yang terdiri dari empat alternatif pilihan jawaban yang diberikan kepada 85 responden. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini berupa uji instrumen (validitas dan reliabilitas), uji analisis statistik, uji hipotesis (uji korelasi rank Spearman), serta uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan hasil perhitungan korelasi antara variabel X dan variabel Y, maka diperoleh angka koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,750, termasuk kategori koefesien 0,51-0,75 artinya terdapat hubungan yang besar atau kuat dan diperoleh nilai signifikasni 0,000 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara manajemen konflik kepala madrasah dengan kinerja guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kota Bandung. Kemudian dari hasil uji koefisiensi determinasi diperoleh (R square) sebesar 0,531 yang berarti bahwa kontribusi variabel manajemen konflik kepala madrasah dengan kinerja guru sebesar 53,1%. This study aims to find out how the reality of the relationship between madrasah head conflict management and improving teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Bandung City. This study uses a quantitative approach, with the correlation method. The data in this study were obtained through the results of distributing questionnaires using the Likert scale model which consisted of four alternative answer choices given to 85 respondents. Data analysis techniques in this study were instrument tests (validity and reliability), statistical analysis tests, hypothesis testing (Spearman’s rank correlation test), and coefficient of determination tests. The results of the study are based on the results of calculating the correlation between variables X and Y, so a correlation coefficient of 0.750 is obtained, including a coefficient category of 0.51-0.75 meaning that there is a large or strong relationship and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 is obtained. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between madrasah head conflict management and improving teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kota Bandung. Then, from the results of the determination coefficient test, it was obtained (R square) of 0.531, which means that the contribution of the madrasa head conflict management variable to increased teacher performance was 53.1%.
