Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder caused by the pancreas not being able to produce enough insulin. Kersen leaves have saponin and flavanoid compounds that can inhibit the absorption of sugar from the intestine. Purpose: This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of cherry leaf cooking water on reducing blood sugar levels. Research Methods: The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling with data analysis carried out using a paired sample t-test. The research sample was diabetes mellitus sufferers at the Griya Husada 4 Karanganyar Clinic as many as 22 respondents. Given once a day for 6 days of administration. Results: It was found that the average decrease in fasting blood sugar levels before being given treatment was 156.00 mg/dl and the average after being given treatment was 120.67 mg/dl with a decrease in blood sugar levels of 35.33 mg/dl while for respondents Those who were not fasting obtained an average result before being given treatment was 175.90 mg/dl and after being given was 130.30 mg/dl. In respondents who were not fasting, it was seen that there was a decrease of 45.60 mg/dl. The significance value (p-value) is 0.000 (<0.005). Conclusion: There is an effect of cherry leaf cooking water on decreasing blood sugar levels in people with Diabetes Mellitus at Griya Husada Clinic 4 Karanganyar.

Abstract

Background: Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder caused by the pancreas not being able to produce enough insulin or the body cannot use the insulin that has been produced effectively. In 2019 the State of Indonesia was ranked 7th among 10 countries with the number of people with Diabetes Mellitus, which was 10.7 million, Meanwhile, according to the Surakarta City Health Office, people with Diabetes Mellitus in 2019 were 17,077 cases. Patients with Diabetes Mellitus are at risk of developing diabetic ulcers. The worldwide prevalence of complications in the form of diabetic ulcers is 9.1 – 26.1 million people. Objective: To determine the relationship between the patient's level of knowledge about diabetic ulcers and the incidence of diabetic ulcers in Diabetes Mellitus patients at the Surakarta City Hospital. Research Methods: This research is quantitative research with a correlation method. Research design with the cross-sectional approach. This research was conducted at the Surakarta City Hospital from January 11 – to February 11, 2022, with a purposive sampling technique and the number of respondents was 20. Using Fisher’s Exact statistical test analysis. Results: it was found that the probability (p) of the significance test of the two variables was 0.000, so the p-value was 0.000 <0.005, so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and the incidence of ulcers in Diabetes Mellitus patients, with a positive correlation coefficient. Conclusion: There is a positive and significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the incidence of diabetic ulcers in patients with diabetes mellitus with a p-value of 0.000 <0.005

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Hipertensi merupakan kondisi peningkatan tekanan darah seseorang di atas normal yang dapat mengakibatkan peningkatan angka kesakitan (morbiditas) dan angka kematian (mortalitas). Penatalaksanaan non – farmakologi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengobati hipertensi salah satunya yaitu wortel. Studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan di Puskesmas Ngrampal didapatkan angka kejadian hipertensi pada bulan September – November 2021 sebanyak 196 orang. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian jus wortel terhadap perubahan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi. Metode penelitian: Quasi experiment design dengan one group pretest – posttest, dengan teknik pengambilan data sampel yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Uji normalitas dengan shapiro-wilk test dan teknik analisis menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil: Berdasarkan uji wilcoxon pada tekanan darah sistole dan didapatkan nilai p sebesar 0,002 dan tekanan darah diastole didapatkan nilai p sebesar 0,001, karena nilai p<0,05 maka ada pengaruh perubahan tekanan darah sesudah diberikan jus wortel. Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh pemberian jus wortel terhadap perubahan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Stroke adalah kondisi gangguan peredaran darah yang mengakibatkan perubahan fungsi otak. Stroke mengakibatkan penurunan kemampuan aktivitas harian yang berdampak pada kualitas hidup penderita stroke. Penanganan yang baik dapat mencegah komplikasi, dan meningkatkan kemampuan aktivitas harian pasien stroke. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh music movement therapy (MMT) terhadap kemampuan aktivitas harian pasien stroke di RSUD Kab. Karanganyar. Metode penelitian: Quasi experiment one group pretest and posttest dengan teknik pengambilan sampel ialah accidental sampling. Uji normalitas dengan shapiro- wilk test dan teknik analisis menggunakan uji T-test paired. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh antara kemampuan aktivitas harian sebelum dan sesudah diberikan music movement therapy (nilai p 0,000 < 0,05) Kesimpulan: Pemberian music movement therapy efektif dalam peningkatan kemampuan aktivitas harian pada pasien stroke

Abstract

Tindakan pembedahan laparatomi dapat menimbulkan beberapa masalah diantaranya adalah nyeri akut pasca pembedahan, rusaknya integrasi kulit, imobilisasi, perdarahan dan resiko infeksi. Nyeri post operasi memerlukan tindakan yang tepat. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan dengan manajemen penatalaksanaan nyeri mencangkup pendekatan farmakologis dan non-farmakologis. Pendekatan non-farmakologi antara lain stimulasi dan massase kutaneus, terapi es dan panas, stimulasi saraf elektris transkutan, distraksi, teknik relaksasi, aromaterapi dan hypnosis. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh aromaterapi lemon terhadap penurunan skala nyeri post operasi laparatomi . Metodelogi: Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (Quasy Eksperiment)dengan pendekatan pretest-posttest design dengan jumlah responden 10 orang. Hasil: Hasil penelitian diperoleh menggunakan uji nonparametik test didapatkan bahwa nilai p-value0,003. Karena p-value (0,003) < α (0,05) maka Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh aromaterapi lemon terhadap penurunan skala nyeri pada pasien post operasi laparatomi. Kesimpulan: Skala rata-rata nyeri sebelum pemberian aromaterapi lemon adalah 5 (sedang), setelah diberikan aromaterapi lemon rata-rata skala nyeri menjadi 3,8 (ringan) dan ada perbedaan skala nyeri sebelum dan sesudah pemberian aromaterapi lemon dimana nilai p = 0,003 dari nilai signifikan p = <0,05.
