Abstract

Hutan mangrove Pantai Pendopo Teritip merupakan salah satu kawasan yang ditetapkan sebagai desa wisata oleh Dinas Pariwisata Balikpapan yang masuk dalam kawasan Gang Pendopo RT. 008 Desa Teritip Kota Balikpapan Kecamatan Balikpapan Timur dan berjarak sekitar 28 km dari pusat kota Balikpapan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2019 bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi ekowisata mangrove di kawasan wisata Pantai Pendopo dan mengetahui kesesuaian ekowisata mangrove di kawasan wisata Pantai Pendopo. Metode yang digunakan adalah data analisis kesesuaian kawasan untuk wisata bahari kategori wisata mangrove berdasarkan perkalian skor dan bobot yang diperoleh dari setiap parameter utama yaitu ketebalan mangrove, kerapatan mangrove, jenis mangrove, pasang surut dan objek biota. Parameter pendukung dalam penelitian ini adalah kepadatan relatif, frekuensi, frekuensi relatif, dominasi, dominasi relatif, indeks nilai penting (INP), dan persepsi pengunjung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di lapangan, potensi ekowisata mangrove di lima stasiun masuk dalam kategori S2 (Tepat) untuk dijadikan lokasi ekowisata mangrove. Hasil analisis kesesuaian menunjukkan bahwa kawasan mangrove Pantai Pendopo untuk semua stasiun termasuk dalam kategori sesuai sehingga kawasan wisata Pantai Pendopo lebih direkomendasikan menjadi kawasan wisata mangrove berdasarkan destinasi fotografi.

Abstract

To find out the characteristics of sea water quality in tidal and low conditions with parameters including DO, Salinity, pH, Temperature, Turbidity, Brightness. The study was conducted from February to April 2019. The collection of water quality parameters in pangempang waters using tools contained in the laboratory at 5 station points. Results from the parameters DO, Salinity, pH, Temperature and Brightness at the research site, while for Brightness in the Laboratory of Water Quality Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. The average result of the measurement at the tide conditions on the DO parameter is obtained 5.76 mg / l, the Salinity parameter obtained 21.8 o/oo, the pH parameter obtained 6.4, the temperature parameter obtained 32.2 oC, the turbidity parameter obtained 0.27 NTU parameter Brightness obtained 2.6 meters, while the average result of the measurement at receding conditions at the DO parameter obtained 6.56 mg / l, salinity parameter obtained 23.2 o/oo parameter pH obtained 7, Temperature parameter obtained 31.8oC turbidity parameter obtained 1.6 NTU parameter Brightness obtained 1.33 Meters.

Abstract

Indonesia has strategic shipping lanes and abundant natural resources, one of them is petroleum. These conditions is an advantage for Indonesia, but also it give challenges for the around ecosystem. In March 2018 there was oil spill accident in Balikpapan Bay. This incident brought bad impact for ecosystem around and people too. Based on these the research set out to monitoring the direction of distribution oil spill, the method can use remote sensing technology to search it with Sentinel 1A imagery. The image analysis used thresholding digital number. The results obtained the direction oil spill is spread out to east direction in area about ±82.579 km2 (01 April 2018). While on 13 April 2018 the oil spill there was still covering area about ±​​26,896 km2.
