Abstract

Everyone, including children, adults, and parents, can experience stress. Academic stress is a common type of stress that occurs in a school or educational environment. Students who face high pressure, such as numerous assignments, may experience stress that can lead to insomnia. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between stress and insomnia in students. Stress is a negative feeling caused by situations beyond one's control or changes in one's body and mind. Insomnia is the inability to achieve adequate quality and quantity of sleep. A literature review study was conducted, with 5 journals obtained from Google Scholar. The study design was cross-sectional. The results showed a significant relationship between stress and insomnia in college students (p <0.05). This means that stress levels have a moderate positive correlation with insomnia levels. In conclusion, it is important for students to learn how to manage their stress levels to prevent insomnia.

Abstract

In 2022, the Cirebon District faced a persistent issue of high stunting rates, affecting 15,299 cases or approximately 9.4% of its population. This study focuses on Sampiran Village, Talun Subdistrict, within the Cirebon District, aiming to investigate the correlation between exclusive breastfeeding and stunting in toddlers. Employing a cross-sectional study design with purposive sampling, data collection included questionnaires and anthropometric measurements provided by parents of the participating toddlers. Results revealed that 63.2% of toddlers did not receive exclusive breastfeeding, and 21% of them experienced stunting. Statistical analysis demonstrated a significant relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and stunting occurrence (p < 0.05), with an Odds Ratio of 1.133. This suggests that exclusive breastfeeding can reduce the risk of stunting by 1.133 times, emphasizing its crucial role in stunting prevention among toddlers. These findings underscore the urgency of promoting and educating parents and caregivers about the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding. Encouraging exclusive breastfeeding practices can potentially mitigate the prevalence of stunting in this vulnerable age group within the Cirebon District, ultimately contributing to better child health and well-being.

Abstract

Background: The incidence of gout in the world has reached 335 million people. Uric acid is the result of purine metabolism in the body whose levels should not be excessive. The pain that arises in gout is part of the joints. One of the treatments of pain due to nonpharmacological uric acid is to use traditional remedies such as ginger. Purpose: The purpose of this literature is to analyze the effect of ginger compresses on reducing the pain scale in gout sufferers. Methods: This research method is literature review through the google scholar database (2015-2021), using the keywords:"ginger compress AND Pain AND Gout". 9 journals were obtained according to the established inclusion criteria. Results: Results from 9 journals to be reviewed on average published in 2017/2018, the research design mostly uses experimental Quasy. The sampling technique uses total sampling, with questionnaire instruments. Data analysis using paired t-test. Of the 9 journals reviewed, it was stated that there was an effect of ginger compresses on reducing the pain scale. Conclusion: From the 9 journals reviewed, there was a significant influence between ginger compresses and pain reduction. Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (Covid-19) is one of the disorders of the respiratory system. Based on data on the number of Covid-19 exposures in Indonesia that were confirmed positive as many as 6,512,913 cases, patients recovered as many as 6,319,990 cases, and died 158,768 people (Ministry of Health RI, 2022). Therapi rprogressive muscle elaxation is an exercise in muscle activity, tense muscles then lower tension by performing relaxation techniques to get a feeling of relaxation. Purpose: the purpose of this progressive muscle relaxation therapi, which is to lower tension so that it is more relaxed. This study is to measure the effectiveness of progressive muscle reflexes against decreasing anxiety levels in Second degree students who are currently practicing clinically and have confirmed Covid-19. The population used was Second degree students who were confirmed with Covid-19 at STIKes Ahmad Dahlan Cirebon, the sample or respondents in this study were second degree students who were confirmed with Covid-19 who were self-isolating after being confirmed with Covid-19 . Methods: In this study, quantitative research methods, using purposive sampling with quasi-experimental study pretest-posttest one group design research design. This study took from 22 students who practiced clinics and confirmed Covid-19 students who were exposed to Covid-19. At the value of the level of anxiety after being administered a progressive muscle relaxation therapi is 2.17 with a standard deviation of 0.381. The results of the statistical test obtained a p value of 0.000, then p < α where H 0 was rejected, meaning that there was a significant influence on the level of student anxiety before and after progressive relaxation. It is hoped that this research can be used as one of the implementations of nonpharmacology therapi to patients who have been confirmed with Covid-19 to reduce anxiety levels through the administration of his progressive muscle relaxation therapi.
