Abstract

The onion crackers produced by Mrs. Tutik are a micro-scale business in the cracker industry. This business has been established since 2016, Mrs. Tutik is an entrepreneur who has a desire to advance her business. However, they have not used more advanced (manual) production equipment (machines). Until now, Mrs. Tutik's crackers are only sold in the vicinity of the village, and village markets which are in the same area as Kapongan District. The food consumption pattern of the East Java population cannot be separated from crackers, which creates a large market opportunity for the "RISQI" MSME business. Data on the consumption of crackers by the Indonesian population in 2019 reached 200 tons per day. 25% of the consumption is supplied by large cracker companies, the difference is supplied by small and medium enterprises. Therefore, the business potential of "RISQI Crackers" (Tutik's mother) to develop is quite large. The potential and efforts to realize Mrs. Tutik's Kerupuk business in increasing her business capacity are carried out with mentoring activities starting from the stages of improving the production system and using production equipment that meets processed food production standards and business management system assistance. The assistance that will be carried out, namely: (1) increasing production capacity using an energy-efficient cracker drying machine, from 25 kg for each production, after the activity develops to 50 kg for one production, (3) assistance for preparing a simple cost analysis, (4) assistance to monitor sales activitiesCommunity service activities in the form of assistance to UMKM "RISQI" is an ongoing effort from the community development program that has been agreed in the MOU together with the village government of Curah Cottok, and is a downstream research result, the results of this Community Service are expected to provide outcomes in the form of increased production results from effectiveness production time, with the output of public service results.

Abstract

The inventory replenishment process in the warehouse becomes difficult if there is uncertainty. It can cause warehouse performance not to be as expected. The warehouse is an important part of the supply chain subsystem, which smooths the flow of goods from upstream to downstream throughout the system. This paper uses system dynamics modeling to analyze the replenishment of raw materials where there is randomness in availability and reliability and their effects on the delivery lead time of the fleet. The model obtained is much simpler but more robust when compared to the analytical-mathematical model or the discrete-events simulation. Tests on the model show that the model can behave as it should logically. Several experiments were conducted to see how fleet availability's reliability can affect the delay in receiving or delivery lead time. One interesting thing revealed is that reliability does not have to be 100%, but there is a certain minimum threshold for the system to perform well. This is different from availability, which must be 100%.

Abstract

The increase in the number of mountain climbers has an impact on increasing the volume of rubbish along the climbing route which results in damage to the natural scenery on the climbing route, pollution of water sources, and changes in eating behavior patterns in animals. Trash handling on climbing routes has been carried out by providing sanctions for climbers who do not bring rubbish down to several base camps. The process of picking up climbers' rubbish experienced several obstacles, including: picking up dirty rubbish with unhygienic hands, limited water to wash their hands after picking up rubbish, difficulty for climbers picking up rubbish while wearing large bags, and rubbish on the edge of cliffs which endangered climbers. The aim of this research is to design the development of a tracking pole as a trash clamp tool for mountain climbers. The product development design for this research uses product development theory according to Ulrich which is divided into several phases, namely: planning phase, concept development phase, system level design phase, detailed design phase, testing and improvement phase, and product launch phase. This research is limited to the testing phase. The designed tracking pole is a tool that is simple and easy to use, as a stick and also a tool for collecting rubbish when climbers are climbing, a comfortable tool. The designed tracking pole was well received by climbers. This is shown in the panelists' responses after using the tracking pole during technical testing of the tool.
