Abstract

Circumcision is an activity that is definitely carried out by a boy, especially a Muslim, in this case every man must have a circumcision, but not all parents whose children have had a circumcision understand how to care for their child after a circumcision, one of them The intervention carried out is that education is a method that can be used to transfer knowledge, especially in certain activities where the participants are heterogeneous, as is the case with parents, in this case parents who have post-circumcision children need the ability to perform post-circumcision wound care. to prevent infection. This activity was held on May 19 2022. The number of participants was 25 people from Dusun II Village, Sei Mencirim, Deli Serdang Regency. The results of the community service activities show that parents whose children were post-circumcision performed very well at 80%, and 20% were good as seen from starting to give medication according to the dosage, and taking care of circumcision wounds clean and sterile regularly, so that the healing process walk quickly and reduce the risk of infection in the circumcised area.
