Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara yang tepat dalam pengembangan usaha di Anggrek Widarakandang melalui hasil benchmarking atau  perbandingan penerapan teknologi inovasi budidaya tanaman anggrek dengan lokasi pembanding yang lebih unggul, business model canvas untuk rencana pengembangan usaha tanaman anggrek, dan mendesain model pemberdayaan masyarakat yang tepat agar masyarakat sekitar terlibat dalam pengembangan usaha di Anggrek Widarakandang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari – Juni 2022 di tempat usaha Anggrek Widarakandang, Kelurahan Muja Muju, Kemantren Umbulharjo, Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan triangulasi data dan selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan analisis benchmarking. Penentuan wilayah dan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara purposive, dengan 13 informan yang ditentukan dengan purposive sampling. Hasil analisis menunjukkan Anggrek Widarakandang memiliki kelemahan pada pemanfaatan teknologi inovasi budidaya yaitu penggunaan pupuk yang belum bervariasi. Selain itu promosi untuk meningkatkan jangkauan konsumen, konsumen yang membeli produk, dukungan yang diberikan oleh pemerintah setempat. Kemudian dilakukan FGD untuk memecahkan masalah di atas dan melakukan pemberdayaan dengan melibatkan masyarakat serta informan untuk bekerja sama dalam mengembangkan usaha di Anggrek Widarakandang. Setelah diadakan penyuluhan bersama dengan sasaran, rencana tindak lanjut yang hendak dilakukan dalam rangka mendukung pengembangan usaha di Anggrek Widarakandang adalah dengan mengadopsi hasil benchmarking yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dan mengajak masyarakat sekitar untuk bekerja sama dalam meningkatkan produksi dan kualitas tanaman anggrek untuk memenuhi permintaan pasar di Anggrek Widarakandang.Kata Kunci : anggrek, benchmarking, pengembangan usahaAbstract:This study aims to find out the right way to develop a business at Widarakandang Orchid through benchmarking results or a comparison of the application of innovative orchid cultivation technology with superior comparison locations, business model canvas for orchid business development plans, and designing appropriate community empowerment models. So that the surrounding community is involved in business development at Widarakandang Orchid, this research was conducted from January to June 2022 at the Widarakandang Orchid business premises, Muja Muju Village, Umbulharjo Kemantren, Yogyakarta City. This study used a descriptive and qualitative data triangulation approach and analyzed using benchmarking analysis. Determination of the research area and location was carried out purposively, with 13 informants determined by purposive sampling. The analysis results show that the Widarakandang Orchid has a weakness in using innovative cultivation technology, namely the use of no varied fertilizers. Apart from that, promotions increase consumer reach, consumers who buy products, and support the local government provides. Then, FGDs were carried out to solve the above problems and empower the community and informants to work together in developing businesses at Widarakandang Orchid. After holding counseling together with the target, the follow-up plan to be carried out to support business development at Widarakandang Orchid is to adopt the benchmarking results carried out by researchers and invite the surrounding community to work together in increasing the production and quality of orchid plants to meet market demand at Widarakandang Orchid.Keywords: orchid, benchmarking, business development

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of the 7P marketing mix strategy at CV. Tani Organik Merapi is a company operating in the field of organic agriculture. This research also identifies the 7P marketing mix which includes product, price, promotion, place, people, process, and physical evidence, and how it is applied in the context of an organic farming company. This research aims to be able to analyze the SWOT to formulate an effective marketing strategy. The research results show that internal and external factors can influence a company, including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. This research method uses a mixed method by carrying out a research approach that combines quantitative and qualitative data analysis to obtain more comprehensive and accurate results. The analysis results show that CV's 7P marketing mix strategy. Merapi Organic Farming shows success in several aspects but requires improvement in the Promotion aspect. By using SWOT analysis, CV. Merapi Organic Farmers can develop 12 alternative strategies to improve performance and success in marketing organic vegetable products."
