Abstract

This research was motivated by the large number of students with low listening skills, some student barriers in listening, students' laziness, less creative learning, and monotonous learning. Therefore researchers use audiovisual media which can be used as an alternative for the learning process to make it more interesting and creative so as to improve students' listening skills. This study aims to determine weaknesses in the use of audiovisual media, and to determine students' concentration when listening to videos. The results of this study indicate that using audiovisual media for listening skills really helps the learning process to be creative and fun so that it can make students enthusiastic in learning, however the use of audiovisual media has weaknesses such as the time to prepare the media which is quite long, and also an unstable internet network. This research was carried out using a qualitative approach, and focused on audiovisual media. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the values ​​of character education content found in the 2017 Revised Edition of Class IV Student Book Theme 7 The Beauty of Diversity in Negeriku. The results of the study show that, based on an analysis of character values ​​in the 2017 Revised Edition of Class IV Student Book Theme 7, these values ​​include: 1) Religious: religious content characters have developed indicators of religious character, such as praying before studying. 2) Nationalism has instilled the value of learning seriously. 3). Independent character instilling the value of nationalism through the work itself. 4) the spirit of gotong royong is instilled in the value of nationalism through joint efforts to clean up the school environment. 5) Integrity, the charge of the character of integrity, has instilled the value of nationalism, which is doing one's own work.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of parental assistance on student learning discipline at SD Negeri Kamal 09 Pagi. This research is a quantitative research using survey research methods. The population subjects in this study were fifth grade students at SD Negeri Kamal 09 Pagi by taking a sample of two classes consisting of 35 students in class VA and 35 students in class VB. Data collection techniques using questionnaire instruments. The results of testing the t-test hypothesis obtained tcount (6.654) > ttable (1.673) so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected H1 is accepted meaning that the influence of Parental Companion affects Student Learning Discipline

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between vocabulary mastery and the ability to write narrative essays. This research took place in class V SDN Kutabaru 1, Tangerang Regency. This type of research uses a quantitative approach to the survey method. The population is fifth grade students at SDN Kutabaru 1, Tangerang Regency, with a total of 112 students. The sample used was 28 students. The data collection technique consisted of 25 vocabulary mastery test statements and 2 narrative essay writing test questions. To test the hypothesis, the correlation coefficient test was used to obtain a value of 0.712, from the results of the t test obtained tcount = 5,226 and ttable = 2,055, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between vocabulary mastery and the ability to write narrative essays by 51,2%. Thus a significant positive relationship between vocabulary mastery and students' ability to write narrative essays will also be higher.
