This research was motivated by the low social problem-solving skills of students in social studies learning in class IV UPT SDN 001 Langgini. This study aims to improve students' social problem-solving skills in Social Studies learning material for building a civilized society by applying the Social Inquiry learning model in class IV UPT SDN 001 Langgini. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). This research was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle is carried out in two meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 14 grade IV students with 8 male students and 6 female students. Data collection techniques in this study are test techniques, observation, and documentation. The instruments used in this study were the learning objectives flow (ATP), teaching modules, test sheets, and observation sheets. The data analysis technique in this study is to use qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that in the pre-action activities, the class average value was 47 with classical completeness of 21%, increased in cycle 1 meeting I with an average value of 55 with classical completeness of 43%, increased in cycle 1 meeting II with a grade an average of 67 with a classical completeness of 57%. The class average score in cycle 2 meeting I was 76 with classical completeness of 79%, and it increased again in cycle 2 meeting II which was 86 with classical completeness of 93%. It can be concluded that applying the Social Inquiry learning model can improve the social problem-solving skills of class IV UPT SDN 001 Langgini.
