Abstract

The companion book needed by students to support educational facilities is the Students’ Worksheet. The purpose of this study was to analyze the appropriateness of the content and language contained in the Indonesian Students’ Worksheet book for the second-grade students on first semester. The researcher used a quantitative descriptive method and content analysis. The data collection is Indonesian Students’ Worksheet in first semester. The data collection technique is carried out by documenting the appropriate aspects of the content and language. This time the research used descriptive statistical analysis techniques. Acquisition of content feasibility scores obtained a percentage of 91.66% while acquisition of language feasibility scores obtained a percentage of 79.76%. Eligibility of the content and language of Class 2 SMP first semester Indonesian Students’ Worksheet published by Putra Nugraha can be used for a companion book for Indonesian language textbooks for SMP/MTs/Package B grade VII semester 1 for the Merdeka Curriculum. This research can be continued in depth from the aspects of graphics, usability, and other types of research approaches

Abstract

There are two aims of this research, namely: 1) describing the procedures for development learning using the SQ3R method which can improve abilities students' reading comprehension, 2) there is an increase in reading ability students' understanding using the SQ3R method. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The data source in this research is the informant, namely the teacher Indonesian language class XII SMK Kahuripan 1 Jakarta, namely Mrs. Laili Lufti Yuli, S. Pd and class XII students. The data is in the form of an increase in reading ability understanding using the SQ3R method in students at SMK Kahuripan 1 Jakarta. Data collection techniques in this research are interviews, student observation, tests/performance, and and using questionnaires. Characteristic analysis techniques qualitative. Research results regarding improving reading ability understanding using the SQ3R method in students at SMK  Kahuripan 1 Jakarta divided into three, namely: 1) increasing students' liking for language lessons Indonesia, 2) increase in reading comprehension ability results, 3) increase student activities in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

Dalam artikel ini penulis membahas tentang Studi Komparasi Kemampuan Menulis Puisi dengan Media Gambar dan Kartu Kata pada Siswa Kelas VIII SMP X. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan antara menulis puisi dengan media gambar dan media kartu kata berdasarkan unsur fisik dan unsur batin pada siswa. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik pengumpulan data karena memakai sistem Penelitian Deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini tes unjuk kerja digunakan untuk membantu dalam pengelolaan data. Dari pengamatan pertemuan pertama, distribusi frekuensi nilai kemampuan menulis puisi siswa dengan media gambar tertinggi ada pada kategori baik dengan interval skor 21-30 yaitu sebanyak 17 siswa dengan presentase 68%. Kemudian dari pengamatan pertemuan kedua, distribusi frekuensi nilai kemampuan menulis puisi siswa dengan media kartu kata tertinggi pada kategori baik dengan interval skor 21-30 yaitu sebanyak 20 siswa dengan presentase 80%. Setelah dilihat dari pertemuan pertama dan kedua dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media gambar dan media kartu kata tidak memiliki perbedaan. Kedua media tersebut memiliki hasil yang baik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa berdasarkan unsur fisik dan unsur batin.
