Abstract

With the potential of the agricultural sector, Bojonegoro Regency certainly requires an abundant supply of clean water. To overcome this problem, the Bojonegoro Regency Government built reservoirs to protect clean water supply in several areas in Bojonegoro Regency. The utilization of existing embung in Bojonegoro is not limited to agriculture only, but also as a tourist spot. To date, there has been no research assessing the quality of water in reservoirs. Consequently, this study aimed to evaluate the water quality in three reservoirs located in Bojonegoro. This study employs qualitative analysis derived from the environmental laboratory water quality assessments conducted by Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Bojonegoro. The findings from the water analyses of Embung Bendo, Embung Mayangkawis, and Embung Babo reveal distinct conditions among the three locations. These variations are attributed to differing environmental factors that influence each site uniquely.

Abstract

Sungai Gandong merupakan sungai yang melalui Kabupaten Bojonegoro dengan panjang 45 km. Salah satu sumber air Sungai Gandong berada di Sumber Air “Growgoland” Kecamatan Dander. Penelitian dilakukan untuk menelaah beberapa parameter kualitas air di 6 titik Sungai Gandong ruas Kecamatan Dander sehingga dapat diketahui kondisi dan tingkat status mutu airnya. Parameter yang dianalisis yaitu pH, DO, BOD, COD, TSS, dan nitrat. Status mutu air dianalisis dengan Metode Indeks Pencemaran (IP) yang berpedoman pada Keputusan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup No. 115 Tahun 2003 tentang Pedoman Penetapan Status Kualitas Air. Setelah dianalisis diperoleh Indeks Pencemaran (IP) ≤ 1 yang berarti sungai dalam kondisi baik. Nilai Indeks Pencemaran (Ip) terendah 0.527 di tiitk 0 dan tertinggi 0.907 di titik 3 Sungai Gandong.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the types and characteristics of waste generated from the X Flats Construction Project, evaluate waste management, redesign waste processing sites in accordance with applicable regulations. This research method involves data collection, observation, and interviews to determine the characteristics and volume of waste produced. Next, time calculations, packaging planning, and planning TPS area calculations are carried out. This includes adequate TPS capacity for each type of waste, selection of appropriate locations, as well as facilities such as storage tanks that meet the requirements, effective ventilation systems, adequate lighting, safe roof construction, availability of fire extinguishers, and appropriate transportation routes. in accordance. By taking into account all these aspects, it is hoped that the planned Integrated Waste Processing Site (TPST) can meet applicable regulatory standards

Abstract

Pengelolaan limbah bahan berbahaya dan beracun (B3) di industri rokok merupakan hal yang penting dalam upaya menjaga lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat. Kabupaten Pasuruan, sebagai salah satu daerah yang memiliki industri rokok yang signifikan dan perlu dilakukan kajian untuk mengevaluasi pengelolaan limbah B3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa industri rokok di Kabupaten Pasuruan masih menghadapi beberapa tantangan dalam pengelolaan limbah B3. Pada umumnya, limbah B3 yang dihasilkan oleh industri rokok terdiri dari bahan kimia beracun seperti nikotin, logam berat, dan senyawa organik volatil. Sehingga, beberapa upaya telah dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan limbah B3 di industri rokok Kabupaten Pasuruan. Dalam penelitian ini, disarankan adanya peningkatan koordinasi antara pemerintah daerah, industri rokok, dan lembaga terkait lainnya untuk memperkuat pengawasan dan pemantauan terhadap pengelolaan limbah B3. Selain itu, penting juga untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan limbah B3 yang aman dan berkelanjutan. Kesimpulannya, pengelolaan limbah B3 di industri rokok Kabupaten Pasuruan masih memerlukan perhatian lebih lanjut. Diperlukan upaya kolaboratif dari berbagai pihak untuk meningkatkan infrastruktur, sumber daya manusia, dan kesadaran lingkungan dalam rangka mencapai pengelolaan limbah B3 yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Lamong Bay is one of the important water areas in Indonesia, located around the coastal area of ​​Surabaya, East Java. This area has high ecological and economic value because it functions as a sea transportation route and supports marine biota. So this research is intended to monitor the quality of sea water in Lamong Bay based on benthos and plankton bioindicators. Plankton and benthos are small organisms that live in waters and are very sensitive to environmental changes. The plankton sampling method involves using a plankton net to collect plankton samples from the waters. The grab and net sampling method is a method used to collect benthos samples from the bottom of the waters. The results that can be concluded from the analysis carried out in the waters of Lamong Bay, for the type and abundance of plankton, phytoplankton are 3 classes, namely Bacillariophyta (16 species), Cyanobacteria (2 species), and Euglenozoa (1 species), and zooplankton found include Arthropods Monacilla sp. and Nauplius, Ciliophora individuals include Favella sp. , Tintinnopsis sp. , Tintinnopsis sp. 2, Tintinnopsis sp. 3 as well as individual Rotifera including Notholca sp. Meanwhile, for Benthos, only Thiaridae was found.

Abstract

Semen Z is one of the largest cement supplier companies in Indonesia and will continue to increase every year. The development of the cement industry is in line with the continued development of infrastructure projects, both private and Indonesian government. PT. Semen Z has good integration from raw material providers to cement that is ready to be used by every project that requires it. Development of PT. Cement Z will occur in the quantity of raw materials, human resources, and production processes, up to distribution to consumers. The activities carried out are land clearing/stripping, blasting, excavation and loading, as well as transportation and destruction. Raw materials sourced from this mining process include limestone, silica stone and clay. In this study mining was only carried out on limestone and clay was obtained from suppliers. The units used in the inventory data are limestone and clay raw materials (tons), ammonium nitrate chemicals (tons), diesel fuel (liters), electricity (kWh), emissions (tons), B3 waste (tons), non-B3 waste (tons) and products (tons). Every activity process carried out will have an impact on the environment, so the Company's commitment to a green industry or clean industry is required. To determine the environmental impact analysis on cement production activities, the Company conducted an environmental impact analysis using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method. The aim of this research is to identify improvements in environmental performance, especially those that are hotspots in the Company's production process. The research results show that the highest identification of environmental impacts is obtained from activities at the Limestone mine, in accordance with the Pareto rules approach where if the contributors are more than 80% of the food it will affect the results of the impact analysis obtained.
