Abstract

Unsupervised data is a data type that will be encountered a lot in real-world problems. Example of unsupervised data is data about the condition of a region basedon geographic or demographic information. Unsupervised methods that have beentested and studied are clustering methods.The combination of the clustering algorithm has been well studied. Thecombined algorithm that has been implemented is Self Organizing Map (SOM) and KMeans algorithm where K-Means algorithm is used to clarify the visualization result of SOM algorithm. That combined algorithm is implemented on a dataset of humanresource information from 33 provinces in Indonesia with evaluation of clustering experiments using the silhouette algorithm. From the experiment results, it can be seenthat the provinces in Indonesia can be grouped based on information owned human resources.

Abstract

In a university, the academic process becomes one of the processes that need to be a major concern. The academic process need to run smoothly. Unfortunately, the academic process in the university of Sahid Surakarta is often hampered because the students have difficulties in taking the study plan card. Students must take the study plan card manually. Therefore, an academic information system is required that the study plan card can be accessed online by the students.The academic information system is a complex system. Object-oriented design becomes the most suitable method for this system. The system can be divided into subsystems. UML is selected as a modeling language. There will be three diagrams used to describe this system. They are use case diagram, activity diagram, and class diagram. Finally, this paper aims to design academic information system based on object-oriented approach using unified modelling language in the university of Sahid Surakarta.

Abstract

RSUD Surakarta is a government institution that is engaged in health sector as a regional general hospital. Previously, RSUD Surakarta already have an applicationsystem such as Inpatient System and Outpatient System. RSUD Surakarta also has a centralized system from the Government of Surakarta City that is AttendanceSystem.However RSUD Surakarta is still a new institution, therefore many application systems are still run manually. One of them is Civil Servant Information System. Forinformation problems, should always keep pace with the latest technological developments. The presentation of interesting information is needed to capture theinterest of the public in obtaining information. especially regarding the issue in question. The research method used is observation, interview, and documentation method. Analyst tools used are DFD, Flowchart System, Flowchart Program and ContextDiagram. The result of this research is a web-based civil service information system located in RSUD Surakarta as processing and controlling employee data andinformation media.

Abstract

Sahid Surakarta University has about 950 students and 66 lecturers in 2017, of hich the number is relatively large compared to the number of staff employees. TheUniversity of Sahid Surakarta also does not have a computerized study plan card system in 2017. Web Based Study Card Study Information System with codeigniter framework at the University of Sahid Surakarta is an information system that provides data processing academic schedule, Study Plan Card (Kartu Rencana Studi) and Result Study Card (Kartu Hasil Study) student registration. The final result of this final project is Study Plan Card Information System Sahid Surakarta University which can be used as computerized system to support the administrative process of university employees in processing schedule data, Study Plan Card, Study Result Card, and as media ofinformation summary for university leader.

Abstract

The optimal management of regional property has become a basic requirement for local governments in realizing good governance. Official vehicles as one part of regional property have a significant function. However, the process of managing official vehicles in regional organizations of Salatiga government is still not optimal. For example, the frequency of vehicle maintenance schedules are missed and vehicle tax payments are due. The change of official vehicle users also often occurs and it will be a problem if the process is not recorded properly. This study aims to design an applications in supporting regional organizations at Salatiga government for managing data and presenting information related to official vehicles. This study used the Linear Sequential Model / Waterfall Model. The data collection covered observation, interviews and literature study. The application wasmade in the form of a desktop application using the Node.js platform and it is based on javascript and utilizes the electron framework. The database used SQLite. Analysis and design of the system used a structured method through the stages of making normalization, relations between tables, entity relationship diagrams, data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, flowcharts, and interface design. The resulting application is tested using the blackbox testing method. The analysis of test results shows that the application is functioning normally according to the expected results. The main function of managing data on the use and maintenance of official vehicles has been successful through all the test scenarios conducted.

Abstract

Market segmentation in higher education institutions is still rarely applied although it can assist in defining the right strategies and actions for the targeted market. The problem that often arises in market segmentation is how to exploit the preferences of students as customers. To overcome this, the combination of hybrid clustering method with multiple criteria will be applied to the case of the market segmentation for students in higher education institutions. The integration of geographic, demographic, psychographic, and behavioral criteria from students is used to get more insightful information about student preference. Data result of the integration will be processed using hybrid clustering using K-means and self organizing map (SOM) algorithm. The hybrid clustering conducted to get promising clustering result along with the visualization of segmentation. This study successfully produces five student segments. It received 1,386 as the Davies-Bouldin index (DBI) value and 2,752 as the quantization error (QE) value which indicates a good clustering result for market segmentation. In addition, the visualization of the clustering result can be seen in a hexagonal map.

Abstract

The importance of the presence of higher education enables the private sector to participate in organizing academic activities in the form of higher education institutions. This causes the private higher education market to become more competitive, which implies a low number of students. Therefore, market segmentation needs to be applied to college students so that they can help to determine the model of marketing and promotional activities. The stages carried out in this study consisted of data collection, data exploration, and extracting segment. Cluster analysis was applied as a method for extracting segments of students with psychographics variables as partitioning factors. The K-Means algorithm was chosen as the method applied for cluster analysis because it produces better performance when compared to the use of K-Modes. Cluster analysis based on psychographics variables applied to this case succeeded in extracting the segment of the university students into 6 segments.

Abstract

Kota Salatiga merupakan salah satu wilayah di Indonesia yang memiliki potensi kerawanan pangan. Untuk menghadapi kondisi tersebut, diperlukan kajian yang mendalam Salatiga terkait kondisi pangan di daerah-daerah yang termasuk wilayah Kota Salatiga sehingga dapat diberikan pemantauan dan penekanan pada daerah yang rawan pangan. Akan tetapi, saat ini Kota Salatiga belum memiliki aplikasi yang dapat diakses secara umum dalam rangka menyediakan informasi ketahanan pangan yang yang akurat dan komprehensif. Maka dari itu dibangun Aplikasi Peta Ketahanan dan Kerentanan Pangan sebagai instrumen untuk memantau ketahanan pangan di wilayah Kota Salatiga. Pembangunan Aplikasi Peta Ketahanan dan Kerentanan Pangan menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis Q-GIS. Sistem Informasi ini digunakan untuk membangun Peta Kota Salatiga yang berisi informasi seperti Luas Lahan, Jumlah Sarana dan Prasarana Penyedia Pangan, Jumlah Rumah Tangga Sejahtera, Akses Jalan, Akses Air Bersih, Jumlah Tenaga Kesehatan, dan Komposit. Peta yang dihasilkan ditampilkan dalam suatu website sehingga dapat menjadi sumber informasi mengenai daerah yang rentan akan pangan bagi masyarakat maupun Dinas di Kota Salatiga. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, Aplikasi Peta Ketahanan dan Kerentanan Pangan dapat dioperasikan dengan baik dan mampu menyediakan informasi yang akurat.

Abstract

Kota Surakarta memiliki perpustakaan daerah dengan koleksi buku cukup lengkap. Meskipun demikian, penerapan teknologi informasi dalam pengelolaan perpustakaan daerah di Kota Surakarta masih belum optimal. Salah satu penggunaan teknologi informasi di perpustakaan daerah Kota Surakarta yaitu penggunaan aplikasi SLIMS. Akan tetapi, penggunaan aplikasi ini hanya terbatas pada akses untuk admin sedangkan akses untuk anggota belum dikembangkan.  Anggota perpustakaan membutuhkan aplikasi yang dapat membantu melihat ketersediaan buku yang akan dipinjam, melihat histori buku yang pernah dipinjam, dan memberikan notifikasi batas waktu kapan buku harus dikembalikan sehingga meminimalkan anggota mendapat denda. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut maka dirancang suatu aplikasi berbasis mobile bagi anggota perpustakaan daerah di Kota Surakarta. Perancangan aplikasi menggunakan wireframe dengan paradigma berorientasi objek. Hasil perancangan berupa desain use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, component diagram, dan deployment diagram. Sedangkan desain tatap muka pengguna disajikan dalam bentuk wireframe.

Abstract

Department of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries in Karanganyar Regency is a government agency that still uses a manual process for managing incoming and outgoing mails. This can delay the follow-up of the mail, resulting in a delay in the information delivery process. The aim of this research is to develop a web-based application to make it easier for employees to manage incoming and outgoing mails. This research was carried out using the Waterfall development method, system modeling using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and questionnaire testing using the User Acceptance Test method. The result of this research is to develop a web-based application for managing incoming and outgoing mails which can make it easier for employees in the process of managing data on incoming and outgoing mails, the process of disposition of incoming mails, submission of outgoing mails, reports of incoming and outgoing mails and the data search process. Meanwhile, the results of questionnaire testing using the User Acceptance Test method, obtained a final percentage result of 79%, which means that the level of respondent satisfaction with the application is classified as good.Key Words: Incoming and outgoing mails; Website; Waterfall, Unified Modeling Language; User Acceptance Test; AbstrakDinas Pertanian, Pangan dan Perikanan Kabupaten Karanganyar merupakan suatu instansi pemerintahan yang masih menggunakan proses pengelolaan surat masuk dan surat keluar secara manual. Hal tersebut dapat menunda proses tindak lanjut surat, sehingga mengakibatkan keterlambatan proses penyampaian informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis web untuk memudahkan pegawai dalam mengelola data surat masuk dan surat keluar. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode pengembangan Waterfall, pemodelan sistem menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML) dan pengujian kuesioner menggunakan metode User Acceptance Test. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan aplikasi pengelolaan surat masuk dan surat keluar berbasis web yang dapat memudahkan pegawai dalam proses pengelolaan data surat masuk dan surat keluar, proses disposisi surat masuk, pengajuan surat keluar, laporan surat masuk dan surat keluar dan proses pencarian data. Sedangkan hasil pengujian kuesioner menggunakan metode User Acceptance Test, didapatkan hasil akhir persentase sebanyak 79%, yang artinya tingkat kepuasan responden terhadap aplikasi terklasifikasi baik.Kata kunci: Surat masuk keluar; Website; Waterfall; Unified Modeling Language; User Acceptance Test;
