Abstract

Kemampuan penguasaan soft skill pada menggambar teknik merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi para lulusan siswa SMK. Karena pentingnya hal tersebut, maka para pendidik (guru) diharapkan dapat menguasai soft skill tersebut dengan lebih baik. Dari survei dan wawancara langsung di lapangan, maka didapatkan infomasi bahwa di SMKS YP Fatahillah 1 Cilegon masih perlu ditingkatkan kemampuan dari para pendidik dalam penguasaan sofskill tersebut. Sebagai langkah konkrit dari Jurusan Teknik Mesin Untirta, maka dilaksanakan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa workshop dan pelatihan berupa peningkatan kemampuan menggambar teknik. Aplikasi pada pelatihan ini menggunakan sotware komputer berbasis CAD (Computer Aided Design). Peserta pada kegiatan ini adalah para pendidik dan laboran di SMKS YP Fatahillah 1 Cilegon. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama 3 hari. Hasil kegiatan didapatkan peningkaan kemampuan para peserta dalam menggambar teknik, khususnya 3D. The ability to master soft skills in drawing techniques is very important for graduating vocational school students. Because of the importance of this, educators (teachers) are expected to be able to master these soft skills better. From surveys and direct interviews in the field, information was obtained that at SMKS YP Fatahillah 1 Cilegon the ability of educators still needs to be improved in mastering these soft skills. As a concrete step from the Untirta Mechanical Engineering Department, a community service program was implemented in the form of workshops and training in the form of improving technical drawing skills. The application in this training uses CAD (Computer Aided Design) based computer software. Participants in this activity were educators and laboratory assistants at SMKS YP Fatahillah 1 Cilegon. The activity was carried out for 3 days. The results of the activity resulted in an increase in the participants' abilities in technical drawing, especially 3D.
