Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konflik batin tokoh utama dalam novel Orang Miskin dilarang Sekolah karya Wiwid Prasetyo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa dalam novel Orang Miskin dilarang Sekolah karya Wiwid Prasetyo terdapat konflik batin yang dialami oleh tokoh utama yang dikategorikan sebagai konflik eksternal dan internal. Konflik eksternal mencakup konflik sosial, yang timbul akibat interaksi sosial antar manusia dan masalah-masalah yang muncul dari hubungan antar manusia, serta konflik fisik yang melibatkan benturan antara Faisal dan tokoh-tokoh lainnya dalam cerita. Selain itu, terdapat juga konflik internal yang kompleks yang dirasakan oleh Faisal. Konflik internal yang dialami oleh Faisal meliputi pertentangan dalam dirinya sendiri, seperti tekadnya untuk memperjuangkan nasib ketiga temannya dan warga kampung Genteng agar dapat bersekolah. Faisal juga merasakan tekanan batin dalam usahanya mencari solusi agar ketiga temannya bisa bersekolah dengan biaya yang terjangkau. Kesedihan Faisal terhadap Mat Karmin, yang memanfaatkan arti pendidikan secara negative, dan Faisal juga mengalami tekanan batin akibat pandangan negatif yang diberikan oleh orangtuanya dan warga Kampung Genteng yang menganggapnya gila.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the application of design thinking in differentiated learning of content (material), process, and student learning products in Indonesian language learning in the Teacher Professional Education program. This research uses qualitative methods with case study studies. Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation studies while the participants are field experience students of the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program in Jambi city high schools. The data analysis technique uses Milles & Huberman's interactive model, carried out with activities (during data collection), simplifying data (data reduction), presenting data (data display) and drawing conclusions (making conclusions). The results of the study illustrate that the competence of Indonesian language teachers is able to carry out differentiated learning using the design thinking approach through activities: (a) empathy treatment to form a maximum understanding of students (ermpathize), (b) formulate learning objectives with the concept of define, (c) formulate ideas in learning, (d) develop prototypes in learning, and (e) evaluate the teaching module. The implementation of differentiated learning involves interconnected, continuous, and interacting steps, forming a process that includes diagnostic assessment, curriculum analysis, evaluation of learner diagnostic results, and curriculum analysis.

Abstract

Background. Jambi Malay is rich in expressions that can be utilised as teaching materials in the development of local content curriculum in the field of culture. Purpose. The purpose of this study is to provide information on how the use of various propologue expressions in the Jambi Mekayu language can be used as local content teaching materials characterised by Jambi Malay regionalism. Method. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data comes from documentation and data from informants. The data were collected using documentation and simak libat cakap. Data analysis used Hubermans’ flow technique; data presentation, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The data validity technique used triangulation of theory and method. Results. The development of the local content curriculum must be based on the identification of regional needs and conditions, and pay attention to the principles of effectiveness, efficiency, community, and flexibility. The function of local content in Jambi Province includes cultural preservation, skills enhancement, and entrepreneurial motivation. The determination of study materials and local content subjects must be in accordance with the development of students, the ability of teachers, and available facilities, and not conflict with religious norms and social values. The development of syllabi, competency standards, and basic competencies needs to involve various parties and refer to national content standards. The use of Jambi Malay prologue expressions as teaching materials can enrich the culture-based local content curriculum. Conclusion. Expressions in Jambi Malay are very diverse, can take the form of phrases, clauses, and sentences. The meaning of expressions in Jambi Malay contains a very diverse meaning, both denotative, connotative, and meaning that is born structurally and grammatically.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) cognitive category in the questions contained in the Indonesian language textbook for Class VIII Middle Schools published by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Independent Curriculum 2021 Edition. This research uses qualitative research methods. The type of research used is content analysis. This research is also called analytical research, where the study is based on document analysis. The data for this research were taken from the HOTS type reading element questions found in the Indonesian Middle School Class VIII textbook published by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2021. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there are 51 questions in the Class VIII Indonesian Middle School textbook published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Merdeka Curriculum In 2021, spread over 6 CHAPTERS, the lesson topics are HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills). These practice questions have the same question characteristics and are included in the cognitive categories C4 (analyzing), C5 (evaluating), and C6 (creating). These questions are included in the realm of KKO (Operational Verbs) level 3 (reasoning). The suggestions that can be put forward from this research are that textbook writers are advised to make efforts to improve the characteristics of HOTS C4, C5 and C6 questions based on Learning Objectives (TP) and other researchers are advised to research other aspects of HOTS.
