Abstract

Background: Climaxterium period is signed with the decrease of estrogen level and the increase of gonadotropin excess. This lack of estrogen hormone causes the decline of the variety of either degenerative function or endocrinology from ovarium. Disturbances can be either physical or psychological cause of anxiety to most women. Such complaint in this period is a result ofclimacteric syndrome.Objective: To know about how the description of anxiety levels elderly women in climaxterium period at Public Health Center South Alalak Banjarmasin.Methodology: Type of quantitative research to take data sampling in using proportionate stratified random sampling technique with the descriptive research design of a number of samples as many as 198 respondents. The instrument to take data use questioner and the data analysis use frequency distribution and proportion.Result: The result showed that was anxiety level of elderly women premenopause are moderate anxiety (48,9%), the anxiety level of elderly women menopause are mild anxiety (66,7%), the anxiety level of elderly women, postmenopause are mild anxiety (84,4%).Conclusion: Based on our research the majority of elderly women in climaxterium period are mild anxiety and moderate anxiety.Keywords: Anxiety levels, elderly women in climaxterium period.

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Perempuan suku Dayak Ma’anyan terikat pada peraturan adat dalam perilaku sosialnya. Banyak aturan adat yang mengatur kehidupan perempuan pada suku tersebut. Contohnya seperti itampadi pada ibu postpartum dan adat Ipilah pada perempuan yang hamil di luar nikah. Aturan adat yang berlaku ini berpotensi menjadi sumber stressor pada kelompok perempuan tersebut. Oleh sebab itu, penyuluhan kesehatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada perempuan suku Dayak Ma’anyan terkait stres dan proses adaptasi serta manajemen stres dengan teknik thought stopping dan hipnotis lima jari. Penyuluhan ini menggunakan metode ceramah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta terkait stres dan proses adaptasi, sementara untuk teknik manajemen stres menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Keberhasilan penyuluhan dilakukan dengan mengukur pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta dalam meredemonstrasikan teknik thought stopping dan hipnotis lima jari. Pre-test dan post-test diberikan untuk mengetahui perubahan pengetahuan peserta dan observasi digunakan untuk mengetahui demonstrasi. Hasil penyuluhan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan pada kategori cukup sebesar 18,75% dan peningkatan pengetahuan pada kategori baik sebesar 6,25%. Ditemukan pula fakta bahwa 12,5% peserta justru mengalami penurunan pengetahuan. Peserta juga belum mampu secara mandiri menerapkan teknik manajemen stres yang diajarkan. Akan tetapi, secara menyeluruh peserta penyuluhan mampu memahami dan mempraktikan teknik manajemen stres yang diajarkan. Untuk mengoptimalkan kebermanfaatan penyuluhan kesehatan, kedua teknik manajemen stres perlu diberikan dalam bentuk audio atau audio visual. Kata Kunci: hipnotis lima jari, teknik manajemen stres, thought stopping, Suku Dayak Ma’anyan [English]: Ma'anyan Dayak women are bound by customary rules in their social behavior. There were a number of customary rules that regulate the lives of women in the tribe, for example, Itampadi for postpartum mothers and Ipilah for women who get pregnant before marriage. This customary rule has the potential to be a source of stress for this group of women. Therefore, this health education aims to provide understanding to Ma'anyan Dayak women related to stress and the adaptation process as well as stress management with thought-stopping techniques and five-finger hypnosis. The method used in this program was lecturing to increase participants’ knowledge about stress and the adaptation process, while a demonstration was utilized for stress management. The effectiveness of the counseling is measured through the participants’ knowledge and ability to re-demonstrate the thought-stopping techniques and five-finger hypnosis. A pre-test and post-test were administered to examine the increase in the participants’ knowledge and observations were designed to evaluate the demonstrations. The results showed an increase in the participants’ knowledge in the sufficient category by 18.75% and an increase in knowledge in the good category by 6.25%. It was also found that 12.5% ??of the participants experienced a decrease in knowledge. The participants have not been able to independently apply the stress management techniques. However, overall, the participants were able to understand and practice the stress management techniques. To optimize the benefits of health education, stress management techniques need to be provided in audio or audio-visual forms. Abstract

Kesadaran wanita dalam melakukan pemeriksaan dini untuk mendeteksi kanker serviks masih sangat rendah, padahal kanker serviks merupakan penyebab kematian tertinggi kedua pada perempuan setelah kanker payudara. Deteksi dini sangat penting untuk dilakukan sebagai tindakan preventif. Salah satu jenis pemeriksaan untuk mendiagnosis dini kemungkinan adanya kanker serviks adalah dengan pemeriksaan IVA. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesadaran ibu tentang pemeriksaan IVA sebagai upaya dalam pencegahan kanker serviks. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan metode survey. Sampel diambil menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 94 responden di Puskesmas Tumpung Laung. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Analisa data menggunakan analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa kesadaran ibu dalam melakukan tes IVA sebagian besar kurang baik (52 Ibu, 55,32%). Kurangnya pemahaman ibu dan kurangnya informasi terkait tes IVA membuat sebagian besar ibu tidak menyadari pentingnya tes IVA. Peran tenaga kesehatan sangat diperlukan untuk terus memberikan promosi kesehatan terkait tes IVA agar para ibu memahami dan mau melakukan tes IVA. Kata Kunci : Ibu, IVA, Kanker Serviks, Kesadaran

Abstract

The era of the COVID-19 pandemic requires every educational institution to adapt in maintaining learning outcomes so that the quality of graduates remains optimal. Health education institutions try their best to use existing resources to provide educational services to students, although face-to-face learning can only be done through virtual face-to-face as well as laboratory and clinical practice. It has taken almost 2 years for the world of health education to undergo online learning, so the latest government regulation in 2022 calls for blended learning to be carried out immediately by combining lectures that are carried out face-to-face (50%) with face-to-face (50%). Educational institutions need to prepare the entire community to enter campus because it avoids the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the institutional environment. It is necessary to disseminate information by educational institutions to all students, lecturers and employees who work to pay attention to health rules and protocols. Health education on health protocols needs to be delivered in two forms of media, namely videos and guidebooks because they are very helpful in increasing knowledge that will affect attitudes in implementing health protocols on campus so that the spread of covid 19 can be avoided and campus as a place to learn and interact can be maximally functioned. by the academic community.

Abstract

AbstrakKejadian kekerasan dan pelecehan seksual dilingkungan kampus mencapai 38% menurut data CATAHU Komnas Perempuan (2015-2021), hal ini menjadi perhatian bagi semua civitas akademika untuk mencegah dan menanggulanginya. Institusi pendidikan merupakan tempat yang wajib memberikan keamanan dan kenyamanan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Hal ini juga diatur dalam permendikbudristek No 30 Tahun 2021 tentang pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan seksual di perguruan tinggi. Sehingga tujuan dari kegiatan ini ingin memberikan suatu keterampilan personal safety skill untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiswa sebagai salah satu upaya pencegahan pelecehan seksual dilingkungan kampus. Kegiatan ini dilakukan mulai bulan april 2024 selama 2 kali pertemuan  dengan jumlah 48 mahasiswa semester 2 STIKES Suaka Insan Banjarmasin. Pertemuan pertama mengukur kemampuan mahasiswa terlebih dahulu, dilanjutkan dengan memberikan ceramah & Video tentang kekerasan seksual dan praktik langsung tentang personal safety skill (Recognize, Resist dan Report), kemudian pertemuan selanjutnya 3 minggu kemudian dilakukan evaluasi kembali dengan mahasiswa terkait pengetahuannya. Hasil kegiatan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan yang cukup signifikan yaitu dari yang tadinya pengetahuannya hanya 60% menjadi 98% setelah diberikan pembelajaran terkait personal safety skill. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa personal safety skill ini dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu upaya pencegahan pelecehan seksual dan sarannya tidak hanya diberikan kepada mahasiswa tetapi kepada semua civitas akademika STIKES Suaka Insan dikarenakan kejadian pelecehan seksual semua orang bisa menjadi korban atau sebaliknya pelaku. Kata kunci: pengetahuan; personal safety skill; pelecehan seksual. AbstractIncidents of sexual violence and harassment in the campus environment reached 38% according to CATAHU data from the National Commission on Violence Against Women (2015-2021)in Indonesian, this is a concern for all academics to prevent and overcome it. Educational institutions are places that must provide security and comfort in the teaching and learning process. This is also regulated in Permendikbudristek No. 30 of 2021 concerning the prevention and handling of sexual violence in higher education. So the purpose of this activity is to provide personal safety skills to increase student knowledge as an effort to prevent sexual harassment in the campus environment. This activity was carried out starting in April 2024 for 2 meetings with 48 2nd semester students of STIKES Suaka Insan Banjarmasin. The first meeting measures students' abilities first, followed by giving lectures & videos about sexual violence and direct practice on personal safety skills (Recognize, Resist and Report), then the next meeting 3 weeks later is re-evaluated with students regarding their knowledge. The results from this activity were a significant increase in knowledge, namely from previously only 60% knowledge to 98% after being provided with learning related to personal safety skills. This shows that this personal safety skill can be used as an effort to prevent sexual harassment in the campus environment and the advice is not only given to students but to all academic members of STIKES Suaka Insan because in incidents of sexual harassment everyone can become a victim or vice versa as a perpetrator. Keywords: knowledge; personal safety skill; violence.
