Abstract

 Pariwisata merupakan suatu industri yang berdampak besar. Dampak tersebut tentu saja bisa positif maupun negatif. Agar hasil pariwisata dapat bermanfaat, terutama bagi masyarakat pendukungnya, tentu saja harus disertai dengan pemahaman mengenai keberlanjutan dan kesehatan lingkungan. Tujuan diadakan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat umum yang menghadiri Jimbafest 2023 tentang kesehatan lingkungan berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah workshop. Dalam pengabdia ini team pengabdian selaku narasumber menyampaikan bagaiamana memelihara lingkungan yang berkelanjutan dengan cara pemanfaatan sampah makanan sebagai kompos dan sampah palstik bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai kerajinan yang dapat bernilai ekonomis. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat di Jimbaran Hub berjalan dengan lancar berkat Kerjasama antara Politeknik Internasional Bali dengan Yayasan Jimbaran Hijau dalam acara Jimbafest 2023.

Abstract

The rapid development of tourism has challenged the existence of traditional Balinese lumbung. Many lumbungs have been converted into commercial premises for the needs of the tourist market. This research aims to understand the influence of tourism on architectural changes in traditional Balinese lumbungs and to find out the implications of the transformation of traditional Balinese lumbung architecture due to the influence of tourism. The study uses a holistic and descriptive analytical approach, with a qualitative methodology involving literature analysis, observation and interviews. The research results show that tourism has changed the architecture of Balinese lumbungs from placement and form to materials and function. Lumbungs are now often adapted for tourist comfort, using modern materials, and functioning as tourism facilities such as villas and cafes. Sizes and ornaments are adjusted to international standards, as well as the use of modern lighting and ventilation. The transformation of traditional Balinese lumbung architecture has influenced cultural values and environmental sustainability. The conversion of lumbungs causes loss of historical value and reduces local cultural identity. Commercialization ignores cultural heritage and sustainability, increasing the burden on local resources and waste. Local socio-economic changes occurred as many shifted from agriculture to the service sector, increasing social inequality. However, tourism has strengthened awareness and funding for conservation, and the adaptation of modern facilities has increased the function and relevance of lumbung/jineng.

Abstract

One strategy to optimize Gen Z employees as organizational assets is to utilize them by placing Gen Z according to their roles. HRD must be able to assess employee competencies and capabilities so that they can assign them the right position, because balancing roles in teamwork is important to create a conducive work environment and productive collaboration. This research aims to determine the role of Generation Z teamwork at the Jimbafest event and identify the role of Gen Z that needs to be improved so that the event can run more optimally. This research uses a mix of methods, including JMP software and data collection via questionnaires. The research results show that the roles of Plant, Specialist, and Resource Investigator are very lacking and must be improved to be able to create more productive work teams and complete work more effectively. Generation Z who contribute to a performance or activity must be more creative and imaginative in coming up with brilliant ideas, have experience and in-depth understanding in their field, and must be able to be good networkers or facilitators.
