Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the four pillars of UNESCO education in PAUD Terpadu Mutiara Yogyakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive which gives a complete picture. This study uses interview and documentation techniques to collect data, then the data is analyzed and described with an inductive-deductive thinking pattern. This study obtained the results of the implementation of the four pillars of UNESCO education at PAUD Terpadu Mutiara Yogyakarta, as follows: (1) Learning to know (learning to know) by applying an Islamic approach; (2) Learning to be (learning to be something) by applying child-centered learning and learning by doing (learning by doing) carried out by students; (3) Learning to be (learning to be something) by habituation (habbit forming) in the school environment; (4) Learning to live together (learning to live together) through the example (uswatun hasanah) given by the teacher. The four pillars of UNESCO are interrelated with each other, so that they are carried out in a sustainable manner. In the end, the achievement of the implementation of the four pillars of UNESCO education in PAUD Terpadu Mutiara Yogyakarta can be realized. Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of inculcating the value of discipline through the storytelling method for early childhood. This research belongs to the type of qualitative research and was carried out at PAUD IT Harapan Bunda Klaten. The objects of this study were the teachers and students of group A and group B. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. While the technique of checking the validity of the data uses source triangulation, technical triangulation, and time triangulation. The result of this research is the inculcation of the value of discipline through the storytelling method at PAUD IT Harapan Bunda Klaten, namely through learning activities and early morning activities. Starting with preparing the RPPH and preparing learning tools and materials. Furthermore, the teacher applies the inculcation of discipline values through the storytelling method during learning. Instilling the value of discipline with the theme of experiences and stories of disciplined children. The teacher uses media such as hand puppets, finger puppets and picture story books. With the storytelling method, children can apply the environmental discipline values of PAUD IT Harapan Bunda Klaten. The values of discipline applied at PAUD IT Harapan Bunda Klaten are as follows: a) Children wear uniforms according to a predetermined schedule; b) Children arrive on time/not late; c) Children queue when entering class, taking food and doing ablution; c) Children throw garbage in the trash; d) The child puts the shoes on the shoe rack; e) Children tidy up toys after playing; e) Children obey the rules in school and class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in the ability to recognize numbers through the media of number tube games in children aged 4-5 years at RA Salafiyah Ma'arif Kaligowong, Wadaslintang, Wonosobo in the 2023/2024 academic year. The low ability to recognize numbers is the background for this research. Education for early childhood is education aimed at children aged 0-8 years, one of which educators can use to improve early childhood abilities is through games. In this study, Classroom Action Research (PTK) techniques were used which were carried out in cycle II. The subjects in this study were group A students aged 4-5 years, while the object of this study was the ability to recognize numbers 1-10. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the number tube game can improve the ability to recognize numbers in children aged 4-5 years. In pre-action the percentage of good criteria was 44%, after the research in Cycle I it increased to 64%, then in Cycle II the percentage of completeness of children became 87%. From the data obtained, it shows that this research was successful, because it succeeded in exceeding the research indicator target of 80%.
