Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kebijakan dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara menganalisa dokumen-dokumen penilaian pendidikan di SMA Katolik Seminari Kakaskasen dan mengonfirmasikan data-data yang diperoleh dengan pihak-pihak yang bertanggung jawab dalam penilaian pendidikan di sekolah. Penilaian pendidikan di SMA Katolik Seminari Kakaskasen sudah meliputi aspek sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan.Penilaian aspek sikap mendapatkan penekanan besar dan dibagi menjadi beberapa bagian, yakni penilaian kepribadian, penilaian kerohanian, penilaian sikap sosial dan penilaian kedisiplinan. Penilaian pengetahuan dan keterampilan tidak jauh berbeda dengan penilaian di sekolah-sekolah lain. Penilaian pengetahuan dan keterampilan dilaksanakan dengan cara yang adil dan jujur. Siswa mendapat nilai sesuai dengan kemampuan yang dimilikinya dan nilai yang rendah tidak dinaikkan sampai mencapai KKM hanya karena tuntutan akademik.

Abstract

Recruitment and career development of educational staff at private universities sometimes face challenges. The public's impression of the quality of human resources in private universities is influenced by these phenomena. The purpose of this research is to show the model of recruiting and career development of educational staff at private universities, namely De La Salle Catholic University of Manado (UKDLSM), as well as to make recommendations for improving educational staff quality. The research method employed is qualitative, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Interviews were held with the Head of the Human Resources Development Bureau (PSDM), educational staff at the PSDM bureau, educational staff in three work units, and three job applicant candidates for education staff. The study's results show that (1) UKDLSM already has a recruitment model for education staff, which is contained in the UKDLSM Organizational and Administrative Documents; (2) UKDLSM already has a career development model for educational staff, such as educational staff orientation, skills and capacity building training, and further studies to take the specific positions; (3) Recommendations: the requirement of manpower planning, the implementation of an open recruiting model with internal and external candidates, and implementing frequent and transparent quality audits of education staff

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the internet use in learning and counseling guidance services together on the achievement appreciating characters of Catholic High School students in Tomohon City. In this study the method used was quantitative research method with a sample of 276 students obtained using the Slovin formula with a large population of 893 students and using a questionnaire as a research instrument. Testing the hypothesis using Multiple Linear Regression analysis. After the research was carried out, the results obtained were that there was a positive and significant effect on the internet use in learning and counseling guidance services on the achievement appreciating character of Catholic High School students in Tomohon City. The significance value is 0.000 and the effect is 45.4%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how PAIKEM learning strategies are applied to class IX students at Gonzaga Tomohon Catholic Middle School in the subject of Catholic Religious Education and Moral Education (PAK-BP), and to determine whether or not there is an influence between PAIKEM learning strategies on PAK learning outcomes. -BP class IX student at Gonzaga Tomohon Catholic Middle School. The research method used is a quantitative research method with a survey approach and is a type of causal associative research that aims to determine whether or not there is an influence or relationship between the independent variable (X) on the dependent variable (Y). The research sample in this study amounted to 88 respondents obtained by calculating the Slovin formula. Validity and reliability tests were carried out using IBM SPSS 16 For window and all questionnaire items and tests distributed were declared valid and reliable. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence between PAIKEM learning strategy variables on PAK- BP learning outcomes of class IX students at Gonzaga Tomohon Catholic Middle School with a correlation coefficient of determination of 0.443 with a percentage of 44.3% and is in the medium category with a significance of 0.000. The PAIKEM learning strategy belongs to the very good category with an average score of 83.06 on a scale of 20-80. PAK-BP learning outcomes of class IX students belong to the high category with an average score of 85.82. This shows that there is an influence between the independent variables on the dependent variable with a contribution of 44.3% and the remaining 55.7% is influenced by other factors. Based on this research, the better the PAIKEM learning strategy is applied, the better the PAK-BP learning outcomes obtained by students.

Abstract

Parents as educators first and foremost, in fact, do not carry out their responsibilities in accompanying children to learn at home. Lack of learning assistance has a negative influence on children so that their learning outcomes are less satisfactory. Such problems were also found in grade VII students of Gonzaga Tomohon Catholic Junior High School which prompted researchers to raise a study entitled "The Effect of Parental Learning Assistance on PAK-BP Learning Outcomes in Grade VII Students of Gonzaga Catholic Junior High School". This study aims to determine parental learning assistance, how student PAK-BP learning outcomes and how much influence parental learning assistance has on PAK-BP learning outcomes in grade VII students of Gonzaga Tomohon Catholic Junior High School. The quantitative approach method is a research method that researchers use. This study used independent variable X (parental learning assistance) and dependent variable Y (student PAK-BP learning outcomes). The sample amounted to 93 respondents randomly drawn from a population of 121 students. Problem formulations 1, 2 are answered using descriptive analysis while problem 3 formulations are answered using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that parental learning assistance was in the very good category with a value of 0.856. PAK-BP learning outcomes are in the very high category with a value of 0.851. There is also a low and significant influence of parental learning assistance on PAK-BP learning outcomes in grade VII students at Gonzaga Tomohon Catholic Junior High School with a coefficient of determination of 0.371 equivalent to 37% and 63% are other influencing factors.
