Abstract

Introduction : Head injury is a mechanical injury that directly or indirectly affects the head resulting in scalp injuries, skull fractures, tears in the lining of the brain, and damage to the brain tissue itself, as well as resulting in neurological disorders. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between head injury and disorientation in traffic accident patients at Bhayangkara Ambon Hospital Emergency Room. Method : This study used an analytic survey research design with a cross sectional study design. The population is 65 patients with a sample of all head injury patients who visited in the last year with age (15-55 years) by determining the number of samples using the Ishak and Michael formula tables. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling (probability sampling). The intervention process uses a questionnaire. Result :The results of the study with the Chi Square test (α = 0.001) show that (0.001 <0.05), then H1 is accepted or there is a relationship between head injury and disorientation. Conclusion : The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between head injuries and disorientation.

Abstract

Introduction: Smoking is an activity of sucking a roll of tobacco wrapped in nipa leaves or burning paper, then the smoke is put into the body and exhaled again. In everyday life we can find people who smoke in public places and even around our own home environment. The purpose of this study was “To find out the factors that influence adolescents who do smoking habits in the small hative village of Ambon city” Method: The research method used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Namely research based on postpositivism or enterpretive philosophy, used to examine the condition of natural objects, where the researcher is the key instrument, data collection techniques are carried out by triangulation (combination of observations, interviews, documentation. Result: The results of the discussion obtained from 10 informants where there are 3 factors that influence smoking habits in adolescents, namely family, environment and peers. However, among these 3 factors, peer factors are the most dominant among family and environmental factors. Initially, the teenager only tried smoking to calm his feelings, but after he found relief after smoking, he gradually became accustomed to smoking.

Abstract

Introduction: To improve the quality of telenursing services, a good leadership role is needed, so that in the implementation of telenursing that occurs in hospitals it can be well coordinated, including in serving the community when telenursing services are provided. What the leader does is understand his role as a leader in implementing telenursing so that subordinates or other workers can do it according to the procedure.The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is a relationship between the role of a leader and the development of telenursing information technology at Al-Fatah General Hospital in Ambon. Method: The research method used is descriptive with a cross sectional design. The research sample was taken using a total sampling technique with a total sample of 20 respondents. Bivariate analysis using fisher’s exact test.Results: The research results obtained were that some of the leaders at AlFatah Ambon General Hospital with good leadership roles were 13 respondents with good information technology developments as many as 6 respondents and information technology developments that were not good as many as 14 respondents. While respondents with a less good leader role were 7 respondents. There is no relationship between the role of the leader and the development of telenursing information technology with a p-valie of 0.007. Conclusion: This study shows that most of the leaders are not aware of the development of telenursing information technology.

Abstract

Introduction: Conflict management includes a process-oriented strategy that directs the forms of communica- tion (including behavior) from actors and outsiders and how they influence interests and interpretations. For outsiders (outside those in conflict) as third parties, what they need is accurate information about the conflict situation. This is because effective communication between actors can occur if there is trust in the third party. Method: This study uses a descriptive correlation method with a cross-sectional approach, namely by collecting data at one time (Notoadmodjo, 2010). This method is used to determine the relationship between conflict man- agement and job satisfaction of nurses at Al Fatah Hospital in Ambon. Results: most conflict management is not good with job satisfaction unsatisfied with the number of respondents 18 (40.0%) respondents while the smallest conflict management is good with job satisfaction satisfied with the number of respondents 12 (60.0%). Based on the Chi-Square test results obtained value p = 0.000 < alpha (α) 0.05 so that Ho is rejected, thus it can be said that there is a relationship between conflict management and job satisfaction of nurses at Al Fatah Hospital in Ambon. Suggestion: For hospital institutions to be able to facilitate nurses to develop knowledge related to conflict and conflict management by providing education and training through special seminars so that they can improve the conflict management abilities of nurses.
