Abstract

Introduction: Gouty arthritis is a disease caused by disturbances of purine metabolism characterized by hyperuremia and repeated attacks of acute synovitis. This disorder is associated with the accumulation of monohydrate monosodium urate crystals and at a more advanced stage, joint cartilage degeneration occurs. Method: This research is a non-equivalent control group design study with the aim of knowing the effectiveness of ergonomic exercises on reducing uric acid levels in elderly people with arthritis gout. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique, quasy experimental design or judgment sampling, namely the sampling method is carried out by selecting samples that meet the research criteria for 1 week, so that the number of samples is fulfilled, namely as many as 20 people, by dividing 10 people into groups intervention and 10 control group. Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test on pre-test and post-test uric acid levels in the intervention group. Result : The intervention group obtained a p-value of 0.002 or p <0.05, which means that there was a significant effect before and after giving ergonomic exercises. Conclusion: that ergonomic exercise has an effect on reducing uric acid levels in the blood in the elderly with gouty arthritis in the Work Area of the Hila Health Center, Leihitu district. Kab. Central Moluccas. Thus, it is hoped that people, especially gout arthritis sufferers, should do ergonomic exercises independently and regularly, besides that it is also necessary to regulate a healthy lifestyle in order to prevent more severe complications.

Abstract

Introduction: Storytelling can be given knowledge to children who previously did not like vegetables with media stories that children will be interested in. Therefore an appropriate method is needed in conveying nutrition education, especially regarding fruits and vegetables to children, nutrition education using the storytelling method. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of storytelling on knowledge of fruit and vegetable consumption patterns in children aged 4-6 years in RT 015 Suli Village, Salahutu District. By having 32 Respondents. Method: The method used in this research is a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. The research data was obtained by providing a knowledge questionnaire on consumption patterns of vegetables and fruit. This data analysis uses the Wilcoxon Test. Results: there is an effect of knowledge before and after storytelling on knowledge of consumption patterns of vegetables and fruit in children aged 4-6 years in RT 015 Suli Village, Salahutu District (p=0,000). Conclusion: There is an influence on knowledge of fruit and vegetable consumption patterns in children aged 4-6 years in RT 015 Suli Village, Salahutu District.

Abstract

Introduction: Indonesia’s condition during the current Covid-19 pandemic has shaken both inside and outside society, because the current pandemic has limited all activities, be it health education or the community. Corona virus is a virus that attacks the respiratory tract and causes high fever, cough, flu, shortness of breath and sore throat. Prevention measures in the community are to maintain hand hygiene by using a hand sanitizer or washing hands with soap and running water, avoiding touching parts of the face (such as the eyes, nose and mouth), applying coughing and sneezing ethics, wearing a mask and maintaining distance (at least 1 meters) from others. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education on increasing knowledge and attitudes about preventing Covid19 in Tiouw Village, Saparua District. Method: The research method used is quantitative with a Pre- Experimental. The research sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 93 respondents. Bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Results: the results of this study obtained were that some of the people of Tiouw Village with the knowledge level of the prior category were 39 (41.9%) and the knowledge category after was 54 (58.1%). Meanwhile, the attitude before conducting health education was 33 (41.9%) and the attitude after 60 (64.5%). There is an effect of Health Education on increasing knowledge and attitudes about preventing Covid-19 with the result (p <0.05). Conclusion: that there is an influence of Health Education on increasing knowledge and attitudes about preventing Covid-19 in Tiouw Village, Saparua District.

Abstract

Introduction : Along with the times, humans tend to adopt a modern lifestyle. This lifestyle greatly affects people’s health. Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure which results in the supply of oxygen carried by the blood experiencing obstacles to the tissues that need it. Objective: To determine the effect of giving green tea on reducing blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension at the Tresna Werdha Social Institution Foundation, Maluku Province. Method: The method used in this study was a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest- posttest design. The independent variable is green tea in November 2021. The sample for this study was selected using the total sampling technique, which consisted of 30 populations. The statistical test used is Wilcoxon α = 0.005. Results: Shows that there is a relationship between the effect of giving green tea on reducing blood pressure in patients with hypertension at the Tresna Werdha Social Institution Foundation, Maluku Province, namely the results obtained are p = 0.000 <0.05. Conclusion: there is an effect of giving green tea on reducing pressure in hypertensive patients at the Tresna Werdha Social Institution Foundation, Maluku Province.
