Abstract

Curriculum is one of the important components that play a role in the process of implementing education for higher education level. In the implementation there are several obstacles, among others, changes in the curriculum system that require educators to master the new system and learners must master the material according to the target of maximum achievement in learning. From these problems, it is necessary to develop a curriculum that integrates the government-defined curriculum and the internal curriculum of institutions developed autonomously by their respective institutions. The purpose of this research is to produce a product guidebook for the design of the curriculum of pesantren universities and its application to STIABI Riyadlul 'Ulum to realize a quality education. The research method used is Research and Development (R& D) and the hypothesis of this research is the effectiveness of the college curriculum design manual pesantren in the academic process of lectures. The method used consists of interviews, tests, questionnaires and written documentation, in analyzing the data, researchers use the t-test formula. The results showed that the implementation of the curriculum design of pesantren universities in realizing quality education has an influence on curriculum development. This can be seen from the T-Test i.e. the T-Count score (t) in this study (-5,591) is greater than the T-Table (2,064). From the results of the t-test, the researchers concluded that the research hypothesis in this study is acceptable. This is evidenced from the significant value of p-value 0.000 (p < 0.05) meaning that there is an influence given from the design of the curriculum of pesantren universities to realize a quality education.

Abstract

Education has an important and strategic role to ensure the development of cognitive intelligence, psychomotor and affective. Education aims to develop human potential and forms a good personality. However, current education loses humane aspects (dehumanization). This is due to the approach used for teaching based on the educator (teacher center) and not centered on learners (student center). The ultimate purpose of humanistic approach in education is the learning process that was started and is intended for the benefit of humanizing mankind. Humanizing humans, is to achieve self-actualization, self-understanding, and self-realization people to learn optimally. The concept of humanistic approach in education according to Freire is a process of liberation from the oppressive system and raised awareness of the critical processes centered on educators and learners as subjects in the process of teaching and learning. The implication of humanistic approach in education is how to educators to encourage students to think critically and act according to the values of humanity. Since then, the humanistic approach in education should be applied in the process of learning and teaching in order to produce a good learner and critical of reality.

Abstract

The educational curriculum plays an important role in the process of implementing learning in an educational institution. The curriculum is considered important, because the heart of education is in the curriculum used. The good and bad of graduates (ouput) produced by an education is determined by the curriculum implemented at every level of education. Islamic Universities is one of the levels of education that plays a role in smartening the life of the nation. The cause of the lack of quality of Islamic higher education is influenced by the inconsistency of the curriculum applied so that it is necessary to make changes according to the instructions of the government. This study aims to find out the challenges and opportunities of the Islamic higher education curriculum in Indonesia. This study uses library study methods. The results of the study show that the challenges and opportunities of the Islamic higher education curriculum lie in developing a curriculum that is structured and designed in accordance with the development of the times, the needs of the community and graduate users, as well as the competence of educators who are sufficient in implementing the curriculum implemented.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan pilar utama pembangunan suatu negara, dan manajemen pendidikan yang efektif menjadi kunci untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi strategi pemberdayaan sekolah sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan manajemen pendidikan di Indonesia. Dengan menggabungkan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menggunakan analisis studi kasus untuk memahami implementasi strategi pemberdayaan di beberapa sekolah menengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa otonomi sekolah dan pengembangan kepemimpinan adalah elemen kritis dalam meningkatkan manajemen pendidikan. Otonomi memberikan kebebasan kepada sekolah untuk merancang kurikulum yang lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan lingkungan lokal. Kepemimpinan yang efektif, terutama oleh kepala sekolah, menjadi katalisator untuk merangsang inovasi dan motivasi staf pendidik. Tantangan dalam manajemen pendidikan, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan perubahan kurikulum yang dinamis, memerlukan solusi yang terpadu. Pemberdayaan sekolah, dengan fokus pada keterlibatan guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat, muncul sebagai solusi yang potensial. Melalui program pelatihan dan pengembangan, guru dapat mengatasi tantangan teknologi dan memperbarui keterampilan pedagogis mereka. Rekomendasi yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini mencakup perlunya dukungan pemerintah dalam penyusunan kebijakan yang mendukung pemberdayaan sekolah, pelatihan kepemimpinan yang lebih baik, dan kolaborasi yang lebih erat antara lembaga pendidikan dan industri. Rancangan program pemberdayaan sekolah juga diusulkan sebagai landasan konkrit untuk implementasi strategi ini.
