Abstract

Sektor pariwisata adalah salah satu dari banyak sektor yang mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi yang penting bagi suatu negara. Indonesia, dengan kekayaan alam dan budaya yang dimilikinya dapat menarik jumlah wisatawan, mancanegara maupun nusantara. Raja Ampat merupakan wilayah yang mempunyai beberapa kekayaan keindahan alam, termasuk kelautannya. Dengan perkembangan teknologi sarana transportasi, bermula dari kapal tradisional Pinisi hingga kapal Yacht, untuk itu perlu adanya pelabuhan untuk dapat melayani kapal modern. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merencanakan pelabuhan wisata dengan dukungan fasilitas dermaga pesawat terbang air didalamnya. Berdasarkan data kunjungan wisatawan dan kapal yang sandar, digunakan metode proyeksi yang menggunakan regresi linier untuk mengetahui berapa jumlah kedatangan wisatawan dan jumlah kedatangan kapal 5 sampai dengan 20 tahun yang akan datang. Dari hasil proyeksi perencanaan pelabuhan didapatkan peningkatan produksi penumpang yang signifikan mencapai 488%, menjadikan perlunya dilakukan pengembangan dermaga dan fasilitas lainnya yang menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan teknologi sarana transportasi.

Abstract

Pariwisata memberi dampak besar pada kegiatan ekonomi sebuah negara. Wilayah dengan begitu banyak situs wisata menjadi magnet yang menjadi faktor penarik wisatawan internasional maupun lokal. Sebagai negara kepulauan, pelabuhan menjadi halaman depan dan memainkan peran penting untuk menerima wisatawan maupun penumpang lokal. Oleh karena itu, meningkatkan kinerja layanan pelabuhan menjadi kebijakan yang lebih penting bagi otoritas lokal pelabuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk memperoleh data. Indeks Kepuasan Pelanggan (CSI) digunakan sebagai alat untuk menganalisis kinerja pelabuhan di pelabuhan yang diamati. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengukur tingkat kepuasan penumpang terhadap fasilitas di Pelabuhan yang mejadi pengamatan, yaitu Pelabuhan Pangkal Balam. Dalam pengukuran tingkat kepuasan ini menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode Customer Satisfaction index (CSI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan penumpang masih rendah untuk layanan nilai CSI, yaitu 54%. Dan untuk fasilitas, nilai CSI adalah 57%, peningkatan layanan dan penentuan standar layanan perlu mendesain ulang terminal penumpang dari Pelabuhan yang diamati, dengan menambahkan fasilitas sesuai dengan standar layanan minimum (SPM) berdasarkan peraturan nasional.

Abstract

Fishing boats are used in capturing or collecting aquatic resources. As a means of production, the boat should meet various conditions of seaworthiness i.e. good stability, good seakeeping ability and minimum resistance. Those criteria can be identified when the boat size and the hull form are designed. This study investigates the effect of the boat dimension and the hull form on the stability, resistance and seekeeping ability. Various sizes and hull shapes of a 20 GT fishing boat were simulated, and their performances were compared to the IMO standard. The results suggest that the minimum breadth (B) - draft (d) ratio which meets the stability criterion is 2.50, while the ratio of the center of gravity distance from the keel (KG) and the depth (D) of the boat is 0.65. Furthermore, for the boat with a higher B and D ratio, its resistance is relatively smaller. In terms of seakeeping ability, particularly roll and pitch motions, U type bottom performed better than the Akatsuki bottom. Keywords: fishing vessel, sea keeping, ship hull, stability, resistance

Abstract

Crude palm oil (CPO) merupakan salah satu komoditas ekspor andalan indonesia. Prospek pasar CPO masih cukup cerah dimasa yang akan datang, untuk pasar domestik maupun ekspor. Indonesia menjadi penghasil CPO terbesar di dunia dan untuk membutuhkan optimalisasikan armada angkutan CPO. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan 7 tongkang dengan muatan 3 armada bermuatan 5000 metrik ton (MT) dan 4 armada bermuatan 3500 MT, dimana sistem tarik menggunakan kapal tunda, yang tersedia sebanyak 7 kapal tug. Transportasi angkutan CPO ini memiliki multi alur pelayaran dimana CPO akan di supply ke titik pelabuhan Surabaya sebanyak 92.000 MT dan di pelabuhan Jakarta sebanyak 52.000 MT dari titik muat (Pelabuhan singgah) di Samarinda, Palembang, Bonemanjing, Rengat, Dumai. Seluruh rute akan dioptimalisasikan untuk mendapatkan rute terbaik dan biaya yang minimum dengan menggunakan metode simplex dan linier program. Total biaya Required Freight Rate (RFR) dari 7 tongkang mencapai Rp. 274.003.209.166. Hasil menunjukan bahwa dengan menggunakan rute terbaik dan menggunakan 6 tongkang, kapasitas supply CPO meningkat menjadi 38 Ton. Dengan biaya RFR sebesar Rp. 253.058.332.728 biaya dapat diminimalisir hingga 20 milliar rupiah. Dari hasil penelitian memperlihatkan transportasi menggunakan tongkang dengan sistem tarik oleh kapal tunda masih dapat menjadi pilihan transportasi yang efisien dan efektif.Analysis of Multi-Trip Crude Palm Oil Shipment by Towed Barge; Crude palm oil (CPO) is one of Indonesia's mainstay exports commdity. The prospect of the CPO market still bright in the future, both domestically and exports. Crude palm oil (CPO) is one of Indonesia's mainstay exports. The prospect of the CPO market looks bright in the future, both domestically and in exports. Indonesia is the largest CPO producer in the world therefore the CPO transportation fleet must be optimized. In this study, seven barges with a cargo where 3 fleets with 5000 MT and 4 fleets with 3500 MT, where the tug system uses tugboats, which are available as many as 7 tugboats. This transportation of CPO transportatison has multiple channels where CPO will be supplied to Surabaya port for 92,000 MT, and at Jakarta ports as much as 52,000 MT from loading points in Samarinda, Palembang, Bonemanjing, Rengat, Dumai.All routes will be optimized to get the best route and minimum costs using simplex method and linear programing.  The total cost of the Required Freight Rate (RFR) of 7 barges reaches Rp. 274.003.209.166. The results show that using the best route and utilize only 6 barges CPO supply capacity increases by 38 tons. With an RFR cost only Rp 253,058.332.728 can minimize costs up to 20 billion rupiah. The result showed that transportation using barge with a pull system by tugboat still become efficient and effective transport choice.

Abstract

Pinisi, the name of a traditional ship from Sulawesi which has 7 to 8 of sail characteristics. The ship, which was made without using engineering methods or calculations, has sailed the ocean since the 18th century and proved to be a seaworthy ship. Mainly used as an inter-island transportation of goods which in the future loses its old function and becomes antiques used as a liveaboard type tourist ship. This tourist ship is widely used in eastern Indonesia such as Labuan Bajo, North Sulawesi, Raja Ampat and areas rich in sea beauty suitable for liveaboard. This research designed the pinisi liveaboard ship, discusses the determination of the ship main size with a Comparison method of several ship geometries such as the ratio of length and width, width and draft, etc. Trial and Error methods are used in the design of General Arrangement and Interior Design. By Comparison, Trial and Error methods, the main size of the ship is LOD = 33.0 m, B = 9 m, H = 3.5 m, T = 2.8 m, Cb = 0.591 with Vs = 9 Knots. From this dimension, General Arrangement and Interior Facility were designed and visualize.

Abstract

Fishing vessels used to catch resources from the sea has to pass some of the regulations from International Maritime Organization for sea-worthiness of the vessel especially about stability, resistance to acquire the highest velocity, and the vessel’s motion. This research discusses the effect of the vessel’s dimension and the hull shape by using the stability standard from IMO.The result shows that the ratio of the B/T which meets the stability criteria is 2.50 with the ratio of KG/H of the vessel is 0.65, with the assumption that the KG and H of the vessel are more than 0.70. Whereas if the resistance ratio B/T is big, the resistance for the vessel will be relatively smaller. In terms of the vessel motion, a vessel with a V-type hull will better than a U-type hull in seakeeping.

Abstract

Tourist attractions in Indonesia have become a popular destination for domestic and foreign tourists. Lake Toba is a priority tourist destination, so this tourism has the potential to be developed as an asset that is used as a source of income for the nation and state. This research was conducted to plan the design of a tourist port and port management in the Lake Toba area with the availability of transportation ferries, tourist boats, water buses. The researched port planning uses very supportive facility standards referring to the port Master Plan Technical Guidelines, and PERMENPAR number 3 of 2018 by adding several facilities for the seaplane. bases and WIG ( Wing in Ground Effect ) are like runways amphibious that refer to U.S Department Of Transportation, Federal Aviation  Administration in the document Advisory Circular (AC) No. 150 / 5395-1B. For complete facilities at the port and seaplane bases, the method is used benchmarking by referring to the port ferry and seaplane. bases are the executive dock Merak Harbor, Singapore cruise center, Harbor Bay Batam, Jantzen Beach Seaplane Bases, Traves Seaplane Bases, Lake Hood Seaplane Bases. This port is planned to go through several stages of development using tourist visitor data with projected visits in the next 20 years. Based on the projection results, the highest number of passengers will occur in 2040 with 264,202 people.

Abstract

In Indonesia, many fishing vessels are made from generation to generation in a traditional way. As a result, the ships built did not comply with the regulations and permits of the naval architects. The fishing industry is one of the most dangerous because it works on the high seas. Therefore the performance in hydrodynamics and safety should be evaluated on these traditional vessels. The main objective of this research is to evaluate the hydrodynamic performance and safety of fishing vessels. Following standard specifications or criteria, seakeeping performance is evaluated using Maxsurf Ship Design software. Assessment of existing safety equipment uses IMO (International Maritime Organization) regulations and the Torremolinos protocol. As a result, the ship can only operate at a wave height of 0,1-0,5 meters or undersea state 3. Ship safety inspections reveal that they still do not meet the required requirements and do not have the necessary equipment specified by the World Maritime Organization (IMO).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of laying solar panels on the deckhouse of small fishing vessels 30 GT. The additional load above which causes weight gain and will affect the ship's center of gravity is became the first effect of Fishing vessel stability. The second effect is on how the fishing vessel performs when there is a solar panel on the vessel. The data were collected by measuring the stability according to A.N Kyrylo’s method with standard checks according to the IMO (International Marine Organization). Code on Intact stability calculated the ship motion by using the STRIP method and measuring the wave characteristics using the JONSWAP method with the help of Maxsurf software. The results of this research show that the installment of solar panels above the deckhouse does not really affect the stability, where the results were agreed to the IMO standard criteria. Moreover, the success of the fishing operation will be more visible if the vessels operated on waves under 2 meters due to the more stable movement according to its seakeeping performance .
