Kata kunci: Pendidikan Matematika Realistik, Think Pair Share (TPS), Kemampuan Literasi MatematisAbstract The aims of this study was to determine the influence and the effectiveness of Realistic mathematics education implementation in cooperative settings Think Pair Share (TPS) in terms of the ability of Junior High School students' mathematical literacy. This study was a quasi experiment, with an experiment group and a control group. The data were collected through mathematical literacy ability test. The statistic test were used independent sample t-test and one sample test. The results of the study at the significance level of 0.05, it could be inferred that 1) Realistic mathematics education implementation in cooperative settings Think Pair Share (TPS) is more positive influence than conventional approach in term mathematical literacy ability of Junior High School students and 2)Realistic mathematics education implementation in cooperative settings Think Pair Share (TPS) is effective in term mathematical literacy ability of Junior High School students. Keywords: Realistic Mathematics Education, Think Pair Share (TPS), mathematical literacy ability
