Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the effect of train number game toward the summation arithmetic ability for student with intellectual disability of the second grade in SDLB Eka Mandiri Kota Batu. Data collecting from students was tests and observation. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistics analysis of visual graphs on analysis in and intercondition. The results indicated that the train number game contributing in both increasing and effecting of 1-10 summation arithmetic ability for student with intellectual disability.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan keefektifan metode SQ3R dalam mengidentifikasi informasi teks eksplanasi pada siswa kelas VIII. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan desain nonequivalent control group design yang dengan perlakuan metode SQ3R (Survey-Question-Read-Recite-Review). Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu metode SQ3R efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran mengidentifikasi informasi teks eksplanasi yang dibuktikan dengan signifikasi (sig. 2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.005. Hasil uji tersebut menyatakan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada metode SQ3R sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode SQ3R efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran mengidentifikasi informasi teks eksplanasi. Kata Kunci: mengidentifikasi informasi, teks eksplanasi, metode SQ3R   Abstract This research aim is describing the effectiveness of the SQ3R method in identifying information of explanation text in 8th grade students. This type of research is quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design with SQ3R method (Survey-Question-Read-Recite-Review). The result of this research are SQ3R method effective used on identifying information of explanation text that was proved on the result of T test that has significant (Sig. 2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. The result describes there was a significant difference in SQ3R method, so it can be concluded that SQ3R method is effective to use in learning of identifying informasi of explanation text.
