Abstract

The aim of this research is to enhance students' learning creativity by applying the pictorial riddle model in social studies education. The study uses a qualitative method. The subjects in this study are all fifth-grade students at SDN 104215 Sudirejo, Namorambe District, Deli Serdang Regency, totaling 23 students. The data source in this study is all fifth-grade students at SDN 104215, and the student data collected is in the form of learning test results. The teacher, as the researcher, focuses on the teacher's activities in teaching and the interaction between the teacher and the students in the learning process. The results of this study show that the application of the pictorial riddle model (the key to success) in social studies education can improve students' learning outcomes and creativity. The pretest data before using the pictorial riddle model showed an average score of 72.52, while based on the posttest results after using the pictorial riddle model, there was an average score of 87.39, indicating an improvement. This is also evidenced by the number of students who achieved the minimum passing grade before the research was conducted.

Abstract

This research aims to see how pop-up books influence the desire to study science subjects on wetland ecosystems in class 3 at SD Muhammadiyah 07 Medan. The type of quantitative research used in this research is a quasi-experimental control group design. This research took two classes as samples, with one class being the class that used pop-up books as a learning medium and the other class not using pop-up books as a learning medium. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling in sampling and uses a questionnaire for data collection of 20 items. To analyze the data, the T test was used which has been used previously for the Shapiro Wilk normality test and Levene's homogeneity test. Before the research began, a reliability test was carried out using Cronbach's alpha and a validity test using the Gregory formula. Test the hypothesis using the T test, which has a significance value of 0.000. Based on the findings obtained, it is concluded that pop-up books have an important influence on student learning motivation at SD Muhammadiyah 07 Medan. This could be one solution for making pop-up books as a learning medium as an alternative. to increase students' motivation to learn.

Abstract

Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis secara mendalam kinerja supervisi akademik yang dilaksanakan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di permata bangsa binjai.Metode penelitian dengan menggunakan mix metode dengan tehnik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, kesimpulan dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perencanaan supervisi akademik di sekolah permata bangsa binjai melalui tiga tahapan yakni analisis pelaksanaan supervisi sebelumnya, menyusun program supervisi, menyusun instrumen supervisi akademik. Dari ketiga tahapan tersebut kepala sekolah dan tim supervisi melakukan pembinaan secara langsung dan tidak langsung. Dimana kegiatan pembinaan langsung tersebut seperti kegiatan wawancara tatap muka yang sifatnya secara pribadi antara guru dan kepala sekolah. Sementara tidak langsung adalah melakukan praktek didepan kelas sehingga kepala sekolah dapat melakukan penilaian selama proses supervisi yang hasilnya akan di berikan.melalui pelaksanaan supervisi akademik yang sudah menjadi rutinitas setiap tahunnya dimana guru akan di berikan penilaian selama menjalankan pembelajaran di dalam kelas.Supervisi akademik dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi akademik menjalani tahapan melaksanakan pra observasi, perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, melakukan analisis hasil observasi, mengelolah hasil observasi, melakukan umpan balik hasil observasi. Dalam mencapai tujuan Sekolah permata bangsa binjai serta menyiasati agar proses pembelajaran tetap dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik. Kepala sekolah mengikuti program pemerintah menerapkan sistem pembelajaran luring dan daring . Bukan hanya dalam pembelajaran namun supervisi yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah juga melalui aplikasi yang dianjurkan oleh pemerintah setempat.  Selain itu supervisi akademik ini di rancang oleh kepala sekolah dan tim supervisi yang di unjuk bertanggungjawab, kegiatan ini tidaklah mudah dikarenakan harus melalui beberapa proses serta tantangan yang dihadapi dari oleh lingkungan. Tahapan yang dilaksanakan untuk melihat efektivitas supervisi akademik adalah Menyusun Program Tindak Lanjut dan menyusun tindak lanjut.

Abstract

Education is the spearhead of the success of education in Indonesia, this is in accordance with the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, that development for the next 5 years will prioritize the development of Indonesian human resources, one of which is educators/teachers. The results of the Teacher Competency Test still show that many teachers in Indonesia do not yet have the minimum competencies needed to facilitate quality learning. This condition motivated the Langkat District Education Office to work together with Permata Phsyco Consultant to collaborate in an effort to improve the quality of teacher resources through competence mastery of public elementary and junior high school teachers. The capacity and competency development training activities for public elementary and junior high school teachers within the Langkat District Education Office were attended by 1,200 participants. The material provided is Pedagogic Professional Competence and Personality Social Competence, this is in accordance with the provisions of UURI Number 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers. Based on the results of the reflections carried out by each resource person from the material components of the activity, the results of the participant's portfolio through reflection at the end of the activity, obtained an  adequate result of 79.03. While the results of the activeness of the participants as measured by willingness to ask questions, brainstorming, courage to go ahead and others reached a value of 85.25. This means that the participants are active carefully with full attention to the entire series of material provided by the resource person so as to obtain satisfactory results.
