Abstract

The use of social media in teaching Christianity has become a significant topic in the current digital era. This article aims to understand the impact of social media on the formation of individual spiritual identity. Social media has an important role in expanding access to information, building religious communities, and facilitating interaction between Christians. However, there are negative impacts that need to be considered, especially for Christian teenagers, such as reduced study time, impaired concentration at school, decreased morale, unwise spending of money, and negative impacts on health. This article advocates wise use of social media by managing time, selecting useful content, and prioritizing faith growth. A holistic approach in Christian religious education is needed to integrate spiritual values ​​with a deep understanding of technology. Thus, the use of social media can be optimized as a tool that supports spiritual growth and the formation of a strong Christian identity.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to create a touching narrative about how Christians apply moral ethics in their lives across various situations and contexts. There is a fundamental difference between Christian ethics and general ethics. Christian ethics refer to moral values believed to originate from God, whereas ethics in the general philosophical sense regard moral values as derived from human reasoning and cultural reconstruction. Each individual needs to understand the dilemmas they face in making life decisions and how they can overcome these dilemmas. This research employs a qualitative methodology with a case study approach. Field research results indicate that decision-making is considered an art because it often involves a series of events with unique characteristics. This art of decision-making is always related to the goals to be achieved, the type of problems faced, and the influencing environmental factors. In the decision-making process, there are six views of decision-making: antinomianism, generalism, situationism, total absolutism, conflicting absolutism, and graded absolutism.

Abstract

This research aims to determine creativity in generating congregational crafts in worshiping at church. This research uses qualitative research methods with data collection. The population of this study was all church members. where the researcher is the key instrument. The results of this research indicate that the congregation is less interested in crafts in coming to church to worship. This can be seen from the number of congregations attending the church. Based on the results of this research, creativity can be the main driving force in encouraging congregational craftsmanship in worshiping at church. By exploring creative concepts and practices, we explore how these efforts can enrich the congregation's worship experience and strengthen the spiritual bond with the church as a place of worship." Developing creativity in congregational worship activities at church can increase congregational awareness and participation in ecclesiastical activities. In this research, we examine the factors that influence congregational creativity in generating congregational devotion to church. The research results show that congregational creativity is influenced by several factors, including the influence of the church environment, motivation, and congregational abilities. These results indicate that congregational creativity can be increased by increasing the influence of the church environment and congregational motivation, as well as increasing the congregation's abilities through training and development. Thus, this research can contribute to the development of effective strategies in increasing the creativity of congregations in church worship.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the roles and duties of Christian religious education teachers. Character education is an important aspect of education, especially in forming a young generation with morals and noble character. Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers have an important role in shaping student character based on Christian values. Religious education has a crucial role in forming student character, especially in the context of Christian education. This research aims to investigate the role of Christian religious education teachers in shaping student character. Qualitative research methods were used to gain an in-depth understanding of the experiences and perspectives of teachers and students. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and observations in several secondary schools that have Christian religious education programs. The findings show that Christian religious education teachers play an important role in guiding students to develop character in accordance with Christian values such as love, patience, honesty and responsibility. They use a variety of strategies, including Bible stories, group discussions, and practical examples, to inspire and guide students in integrating these values into their daily lives. Apart from that, cooperation between teachers, parents and the church is also considered crucial in supporting the formation of student character. The implications of this research highlight the importance of training and mentoring for Christian religious education teachers so that they can play their role effectively in shaping student character. Further research is also recommended to further explore the dynamics of the relationship between Christian religious education and student character formation in different contexts.

Abstract

The problem of promiscuity among teenagers poses a major challenge to their growth and overall well-being. The aim of this scientific study is to explain the importance of preventing promiscuity and offer practical strategies to effectively curb this behavior.By reviewing related literature and secondary data, this research uses descriptive-analytic techniques. The research results show that teenage promiscuity can have negative impacts, such as the potential for teenage pregnancy, transmission of sexually transmitted diseases, drug abuse, and the development of mental health disorders.Comprehensive and appropriate sexual education plays an important role in preventing promiscuity. By providing teens with accurate information and improving decision-making skills regarding relationships, sexual activity, and contraception, effective sexual education can effectively encourage healthy choices.

Abstract

Christian character is a collection of values and behaviors that are based on the teachings of the Bible. Christian character is important for children to have, because it can help thembecome good and responsible individuals. The impact of the absence of Christian character on children in society can be in the form of: Inability to socialize well. Children who do not have Christian character tend to find it difficult to socialize well. They may become quiet, shy, or even aggressive. Deviant behavior. Children who do not have Christian character tend to more easily engage in deviant behavior, such as lying, theft, or violence. Inability to face challenges. Children who do not have Christian character tend to give up more easily in the face of challenges. They may become pessimistic or even hopeless. Christian character is a collection of values and behavior based on the teachings of the Bible. Christian character is important for children to have, because it can help them become good and responsible individuals. The Bible teaches values such as love, forgiveness, honesty and justice. These values are important for children to have, because they can help them become individuals who: Have love and empathy for others, are able to forgive other people's mistakes, are honest and trustworthy, are able to act fairly and impartially, obey Christian character.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Kristen bagi dewasa awal disampaikan agar setiap orang tidak hanya memahami atau mengetahui saja namun dapat mengimplementasikan Pendidikan Agama Kristen itu sendiri dalam kehidupan sehari-haik baik bagi diri sendiri maupun orang lain. Pendidikan Agama Kristen melalui pengimplementasikan berhenti berpikir negatif mengajarkan kepada dewasa awal agar tidak memikirkan hal-hal negatif yang menganggu aktivitas sehari-hari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah metode kualitatif melalui penelitian kepustaan (Library research) dengan menelaah berbagai literatur yang berkaitan dengan pokok materi yang di bahas. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa pilihan yang tepat saat menghadapi pikiran-pikiran negatif adalah mengusirnya dengan mengandalkan kekuatan Tuhan bukan kekuatan diri sendiri.
