Abstract

Ketidakmampuan tumbuhan untuk berpindah tempat menyebabkan tumbuhanmemiliki mekanisme menghadapi kondisi lingkungan yang tidak sesuai, misalnyakekeringan. Tumbuhan dapat mengalami tingkat kekeringan sedang dan tingkatkekeringan tinggi. Pada tingkat kekeringan sedang, tumbuhan biasanya memilikimekanisme menghindar sedangkan pada tingkat kekeringan tinggi, tumbuhan memiliki mekanisme toleransi.

Abstract

Padi IPB 3S merupakan hasil persilangan padi Fatmawati dan koleksi padi jenis lainnya yang dihasilkan oleh Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) dengan keungggulan tahan terhadap berbagai macam penyakit diantaranya penyakit turgo, penyakit blas serta penyakit hawar pada tanaman padi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk bokhasi terhadap tanaman padi IPB 3S. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Sumedangan Kecamatan Pademawu Kabupaten Pamekasan. Perlakuan disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 3 perlakuan dosis pupuk (kontrol (tanpa pupuk), 1 kg/m2 (P1) dan 2 kg/m2 (P2)) yang masing masing diulang 3 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk bokashi dengan perlakuan P2 memberikan hasil tanaman terbaik namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter yang diamati.

Abstract

Desa Dlemer adalah salah satu desa penghasil singkong di Kabupaten Bangkalan. Komoditas ini banyak dijual secara langsung di pasar tradisional dengan harga yang cukup rendah. Rendahnya harga jual disebabkan karena belum adanya nilai tambah terhadap produk tersebut, belum adanya sentuhan teknologi untuk memperpanjang waktu simpan setelah panen, belum adanya diversifikasi produk dan belum adanya sentuhan strategi marketing terhadap komoditas singkong yang ada. Kegiatan Abdimas yang ditawarkan oleh Universitas Trunojoyo berupa kegiatan penyuluhan pengolahan pasca panen komoditas Singkong menjadi Tepung Mocaf. Pengabdian ini telah dilaksanakan pada Bulan September 2020 di Desa Dlemer, Kecamatan Kwanyar, Kabupaten Bangkalan. Peserta yang terdiri atas perempuan yang memiliki kebun singkong, diberi pelatihan proses pembuatan Mocaf (persiapan, pengupasan, pemarutan, perendaman, dan penjemuran), proses penentuan standar tepung (tepung mocaf), dan pengemasan tepung Mocaf. Setelah kegiatan peserta dapat menghasilkan tepung mocaf sesuai dengan standar fisik dan pengemasannya. Kegiatan pelatihan dapat dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan pengolahan tepung mocaf dan pemasarannya.

Abstract

The area of Maize planting in Madura was about 324 thousand hectares (largest in East Java), but the production is smaller (1.4 tons / ha) than the average production of East Java (4.9 tons / ha) and Indonesia (5.1 tons / Ha). The maize that is grown and developed in Pamekasan Madura is local corn, hybrid and composite. This study will compare the growth and production of local maize (var. Guluk-guluk), hybrid (Bisi 816 and Pioneer 21) and composite (Sukmaraga and Lamuru). The study was conducted in Pagendingan village, Larangan sub-district, Pamekasan District, using a complete randomized design. The observation parameters were growth and production parameters which were analyzed using one way anava and 5% duncan test. The results showed the fastest growth was varieties Guluk-Guluk (anthesis 44,33 days after planting, silking 46,00 days and harvest 72,67 days). The biggest production is Pioneer 21 which is 10.78 tons / hectare.

Abstract

Baby corn is corn cobs that are picked when they are very young and before the seeds are formed. Until now, there has been no research on the potential of local Madurese maize as baby corn. The use of local Madurese maize varieties as babycorn is an effort to increase the potential value of the commodity in order to increase farmers' income sources. Plants were planted in paddy fields using a randomized block design plot. Maintenance of corn plants using corn planting standards. Parameters observed included: plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, age of flowering, harvest age, harvest period, ear wet weight, ear length, ear diameter, and ear sugar content. Data analysis used SPSS 16. The results of the analysis showed that there were differences in height and stem diameter of hybrid maize plants with local Madurese varieties but between local Madurese varieties showed no significant differences except for the growth in the number of leaves. Flowering age, early harvest age, and harvest period produced very significant differences.

Abstract

One of the ways to increase agricultural production is by improved cultivation techniques through soil fertility management. The balance of soil fertility both chemically, physically and biologically can be restored by using organic fertilizers. Farmers in Sopa'ah Village, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency generally use inorganic fertilizers in the cultivation of rice and corn. This farmer had received training on the manufacture of organic fertilizer but it was not continued because it was constrained by the availability of EM4 as a starter. This service aims to teach farmers about the principles of making starter and liquid organic fertilizer (LOF). The service is in the form of training which was held in two parts, the manufacture of starter and the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer using local materials. After the training, farmers were able to understand and practice the manufacture of starter and liquid organic fertilizer. Farmers are expected to be able to apply the LOF so as to increase soil fertility and crop production. The resulting POC is expected to be commercialized to increase farmers' income.
