Abstract

ABSTRACT Differentiated learning is one of the teacher's efforts in adjusting learning activities in the classroom to meet the learning needs of students related to readiness in receiving new material, students' interests, and learning profiles or learning styles of diverse students. The background of this research is that when teaching, teachers still use the old ways from day to day, from time to time, in short, there has been no comprehensive change. In addition, factors from students also cause their low learning outcomes. Such as being sleepy in class due to sleeping overnight, at home it is difficult to be told to study, not paying attention to the teacher's explanation in class, and so on. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of Indonesian learning outcomes on pantun material through differentiated learning in grade V SDN Oro-Oro Ombo. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out for two cycles. The subjects in this study were grade V students of SDN Oro-Oro Ombo, totaling 20 students. The data collection techniques used were observation sheets, questionnaires, and learning evaluation tests. There are two data analysis techniques used, namely: a) qualitative starting from data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing / data verification; b) quantitative, where calculations are made to determine the percentage of improvement in students' Indonesian learning outcomes on rhyming material. The results of this study indicate an increase in Indonesian learning outcomes on rhyming material through differentiated learning in class V SDN Oro-Oro Ombo. In the initial activities of the pre-cycle the percentage of completeness was 35%, then in cycle I it was 60%, and in cycle II it was 85%.
