Abstract

Kata Kunci: Dinding Geser, Bearing Wall, SAP2000, Simpangan Antar Lantai Abstract The energy emitted by an earthquake is in the form of wave energy that can cause deformation of the structure, both in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction. The use of shear walls is one of the requirements so that high-rise buildings are able to withstand the lateral forces that occur. There are 3 types of shear walls, namely bearing walls, frame walls, and core walls. In this study, the building structure uses a bearing wall type of shear wall with 5 variations of placement with analysis using the SAP2000 application program. This study aims to determine which variation is the most appropriate of the five variations that have been planned, using the provisions based on the control of the deviation between floors. Based on the results that have been obtained from the control of the analysis of the deviation between floors of the bearing wall shear wall using the SAP2000 application program, the most appropriate variation of the bearing wall shear wall is in the 3rd variation with the largest value of the deviation between floors in the x direction of 1,64509 mm and the y direction of 0.82238 mm. The deviation between floors with the smallest value is considered the safest in resisting lateral forces such as earthquake loads that occur in the structure.
