Abstract

This study aims to explain one of the curriculum designs commonly used in the field of education, namely the learner-centered design that can be adopted by the church in order to design early adult development in the church according to the stage of development of church members. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method to describe the stages of implementing the Learner Centered design in designing the curriculum in the church. Based on the results of the study, it was found that: 1) the learner-centered design is very relevant to be used for coaching adults in the church in short and medium-term programs because it is practical, arranged based on needs and makes it easier for the congregation to understand the teaching of God's will in daily life and meet their development needs. 2) the stages that the church needs to prepare when implementing this curriculum design consist of an initial stage to analyze the needs of the congregation, a design stage that pays attention to the material, a relevant learning time strategy for students, and an evaluation stage to determine the success of the designed curriculum.

Abstract

The researcher wants to explain the impact of principal leadership on the effectiveness of learning at high school level. The study is aimed at finding principal leadership model as an ideal example in managing school as an educational institution to bring effective learning as an output. The results of the discussion show that the principal's leadership has a significant positive effect on teacher competence to realize the effectiveness of learning. The conclusion from this discussion that the effectiveness of learning can run well can be done by applying the leadership of the principal and teacher competence. The Principal has strong influence because he leads with love, gives positive impact on school even outside world. He has become catalyst agent who brings others to a purpose, by making himself as not only a creator of culture but also the one who sustains it especially inside school environment. The better the leadership of the principal is, the better the learning effectiveness at the school is.

Abstract

Pelatihan Guru-guru PAK yang mengabdi di lingkungan sekolah negeri di Bandung mengalami kendala untuk melaksanakan tuntutan kurikulum medeka belajar, secara khsusus dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran Kurikulum Medeka Belajar. Sebagai solusinya, pelatihan ini dilaksanakan atas kesepakatan bersama. Menggunakan metode pelatihan dengan pendekatan model pengajaran dan praktik kerja kelompok. Pengajaran dilakukan untuk pengembangan kemampuan anggota organisasi. Praktik kerja kelompok dilakukan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pengalaman dalam bekerja bagi semua peserta pelatihan. Pengukuran ketercapaian pelatihan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Evaluasi seluruh kegiatan dengan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data kualitatif menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan analisis data dari awal sampai akhir. Teknik pengumpulan data kuantitatif menggunakan angket dan analis data dengan rumus persentase. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan 87% guru-guru PAK mengalami peningkatan kompetensi pengetahuan dan keterampilan dan 93% Guru PAK telah berhasil menyusun perangkat pembelajaran untuk Mata Pelajaran PAK yang diampunya sesuai dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar.

Abstract

Scientific writing is one of the tasks in the professional development of teachers and the requirements for promotion outlined by the Ministry of Education in Indonesia. Producing scientific writing requires skills, and this is a trending issue among Christian religious education subject teachers in Indonesia today, how they struggle to develop effective scientific writing. At present, in private and other public schools, it is common for teachers to produce writing using digital technology. However, this has not happened for teachers of Christian religious education subjects. Integrating technology in schools by Christian religious education subject teachers can help improve writing initiatives and skills that focus on writing pedagogy. This initiative will provide technical support to teachers of Christian religious education so they can focus on writing scientific papers. Professional development of teachers in the subject of continuing Christian religious education based on scholarly writing will emphasize how to utilize digital tools to deliver evidence-based writing instructions. Christian Religious Education subject teachers gain the most when given systematic and explicit instruction in science-based strategies for writing and the writing process, and how to make effective use of digital tools as part of the scientific paper writing process

Abstract

This training aimed to enhance the functional position of lecturers by improving their research and publication skills, which in turn contributes significantly to the overall quality of higher education. The program focused on building independent learning capabilities and offering new experiences and knowledge through a qualitative approach utilizing the Research and Development (R&D) model. The primary beneficiaries of this program were 24 lecturers from two higher education institutions (Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Kristen - PTKK). The activities included structured training, workshops, and mentoring sessions, employing the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results of this program were highly positive: 1) The training model employed proved to be more engaging and effective, significantly enhancing participant interest compared to previous trainings; 2) The research and scientific publications produced by the lecturers saw a substantial increase, indicating the effectiveness of the ADDIE-based training model; 3) Participants demonstrated improved understanding of the critical importance of research and publication in advancing their academic careers, which directly impacts their ability to progress in their functional positions.

Abstract

Abstract This study explains the urgency and neutrality of Christology teaching in fostering the congregation's faith during the Covid-19 pandemic by developing teaching materials in supporting modules. This study used the qualitative method. The results of this study: 1) 69.8% of the congregation needed Christology teaching during the Covid-19 pandemic; 2) The Christology teaching module is acceptable in terms of content validity and readability and shows that all sub-modules have an average percentage of 86.9% in the easy category; 3) The response of the congregation after the teaching of Christology obtained an average percentage of 93.3% in the very strong category. As an implication, in carrying out the task of coaching in the Church during the Covid-19 pandemic, so that coaching is carried out effectively and answers the congregation's needs, the Church should start with a review of the introduction of God introduced through Christology in the Bible. Abstrak Kajian ini menjelaskan tentang urgensi dan netralitas pengajaran Kristologi dalam pembinaan iman jemaat di masa pandemi Covid-19 melalui pengembangan bahan ajar berupa modul pendukung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini: 1) 69,8% jemaat membutuhkan pengajaran Kristologi di masa pandemi Covid-19; 2) Modul ajar Kristologi dapat diterima dari segi validitas isi dan keterbacaan, dan menunjukkan bahwa semua sub modul memiliki persentase rata-rata 86,9% dalam kategori mudah; 3) Respon jemaat setelah pengajaran Kristologi diperoleh persentase rata-rata 93,3% dalam kategori sangat kuat. Sebagai implikasinya, dalam menjalankan tugas pembinaan di Gereja masa pandemic Covid-19, agar pembinaan terlaksana secara efektif dan menjawab kebutuhan jemaat, sebaiknya Gereja perlu memulai dengan ulasan tentang pengenalan tentang Allah yang diperkenalkan melalui Kristologi dalam Alkitab.
