Abstract

Education is considered as the main investment for the future of the nation, with motivation to learn as the key to success inthe educational process. In the context of learning in SMP Negeri 35 Medan, the main challenges faced are lack of motivationand gaps in student learning interests. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. A monotonous and lessinteractive learning process, it often involves learning methods that tend to memorize and are less attractive to students. Inaddition, inadequate facilities and network access are also an obstacle. The results showed that students tend to be bored andless motivated when studying. Teachers at SMP Negeri 35 still often use traditional methods that emphasize memorizationrather than active student interaction. To overcome this problem, a more inspiring and interactive learning approach is needed,as well as the use of more interesting learning media. Teachers also need to be more proactive in communicating with students and creating an environment that supports students ' motivation and interest in learning. These efforts are expected to improve the quality of learning and learning outcomes of students in SMP Negeri 35 Medan.

Abstract

Songs are an integral part of human life and play an important role in conveying messages and emotions. However, there are often language errors in song lyrics that go unnoticed. This article discusses language errors in the song "Tegar" sung by Rossa, focusing on the use of the word "tegar". According to the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI), the word "tegar" means "stubborn" or "ngeyel," which has a negative connotation. However, in the song, "tegar" is used to describe fortitude and strength, which is different from its original meaning. This qualitative research aims to understand how language choices in songs affect meaning and message delivery as well as listener interpretation. The results of the analysis show that the use of the word "tegar" in songs can change listeners' perceptions and demonstrate the flexibility of language. Language errors in the context of art are acceptable and even enrich the language with new nuances. This article underlines the importance of paying attention to lyrics in creating quality songs with strong messages.

Abstract

Teacher professional development in the digital era is a complex challenge influenced by various interrelated factors. This study aims to analyze the main factors that influence the development of teachers' professional competencies in a digital context. Digital technologies, including internet access, hardware, software, and online learning platforms, are key elements in improving teachers' competencies. Training and professional development that emphasizes the use of technology in learning is essential to prepare teachers for these changes. Support from school leadership and government through policies, programs and incentives also play an important role in supporting teachers to develop digital skills. Adaptive and flexible curricula enable the integration of technology in teaching, while collaboration between schools, teachers, parents and communities creates a supportive environment for teachers' professional development. Teachers' intrinsic motivation to continuously learn and adapt to changes in technology and pedagogy is influential. With good management of these factors, the quality of teaching and student learning outcomes can improve, as well as advance the teaching profession in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze defense cooperation between Indonesia and Germany in weapons procurement. This research involves an analysis of the history of defense cooperation between the two countries, the types of weapons that have been purchased, and the political and military implications of this cooperation. The research method used is the historical study method, namely by reviewing the topic through historical evidence, both written and unwritten, as a reference source. The research results show that defense cooperation between Indonesia and Germany has a significant impact on Indonesia's defense capabilities, but also has political and diplomatic consequences that need to be considered. It is hoped that this research will provide better insight into the dynamics of international defense cooperation and bilateral relations between Indonesia and Germany.
