Abstract

This study used a quasi-experimental research type (quasi-experimental) with a 2 x 2 factorial design. The research sample was taken by cluster random sampling where one group was treated with the VCT learning model with a sample size of 50 people and one group was treated with the DI learning model with the number of a sample of 51 people. The data collection instruments used were Civics learning outcomes test and learning style questionnaire. The results of hypothesis testing conclude that: 1) There is an influence of the interaction between the learning model and student learning styles on learning outcomes, 2) the learning outcomes of students who have a reflector learning style learned with the VCT learning model are higher than those taught with the DI learning model.

Abstract

Blood group is not only as a complement of identity card, but also is required in emergency, such as in accident where people need blood transfusion. Additionally, bloodgroup is important to know due to the fact that there are some genetic disorders caused byblood type. Golden age of a kid is under two years old. However, stunting at a kid underfive years old can cause many growth disorders, including cognitive and motor growth.Therefore, nutrition intake in food is important to be concerned in order to optimize thekid’s growth. Baitul Izzah was one of Integrated Islamic (IT) kindergartens in BengkuluCity. This school had three A Classes, one Pre-School Class (PAUD), and nine B Classesin which each of them consisted of twenty five pupils and two teachers. The objective ofthis dedication is to know the pupils’ nutritional status at the school so that parents canknow their kid’s growth. Besides, this dedication aims to give counseling about how towash hands correctly in which we know that washing hands before eating or after doingactivities will decrease the risk of communicable diseases like wormy disease andinfluenza. This activity was accomplished on August 16, 2014. It was followed by twoclasses at Kindergarten B which consisted of 46 pupils and accompanied by the class teacher. Based on IMT (Body Mass Index), it was found that there were 18 pupils withnormal nutritional status, 19 pupils were obesity, 2 pupils were underweight and 7 pupilswere overweight. From the blood group checkup, it was found that all of the pupils hadrhesus + with various blood groups. Furthermore, the counseling about how to washhands correctly and good foods was accomplished. From the counseling, it was found thatthe pupils of the kindergarten were very enthusiastic. Following the counseling, directpractice about washing hands correctly was also conducted as well as giving nutritionalfood like mung bean porridge and milk, and souvenirs to the school at the end. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze how to inculcate civic values through scouting extracurricular activities. Students must have knowledge regarding principles and attitudes that involve commitment to the state, active participation in community life, and respect for rights and responsibilities as citizens. There are many ways or efforts that can be made to instill citizenship values in students, one of the steps taken by the teacher is by having extracurricular activities. Extracurricular programs are various additional activities carried out inside and outside the classroom which take place after school hours. As one of the extracurriculars in the 2013 curriculum, Scouting is here with the aim of forming a personality that is characterized, tough, independent, and has a human spirit. This study aims to determine whether scouting extracurricular activities can instill citizenship values. The research subjects were grade 5 students at SDN 101786 Helvetia. The method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that the inculcation of civic values can be carried out through scouting extracurricular activities. With the existence of scouting education activities based on the tri satya and dasa darma scouts, little by little the attitudes and behavior of students (Scouting members) begin to progress progressively and show students are able to apply civic values.Keywords: Cultivating Citizenship Values, Scouting ExtracurricularsAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana tentang penanaman nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan. Siswa harus memiliki pengetahuan terkait prinsip-prinsip dan sikap-sikap yang melibatkan komitmen terhadap negara, partisipasi aktif dalam kehidupan masyarakat, dan penghormatan terhadap hak dan tanggung jawab sebagai warga negara. Banyak cara atau upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menanamkan nilai kewarganegaraan kepada para siswa, salah satu langkah yang dilakukan guru ialah dengan adanya kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Program ekstrakurikuler merupakan berbagai kegiatan tambahan yang dilakukan di dalam dan di luar kelas yang berlangsung setelah jam sekolah. Sebagai salah satu ekstrakurikuler dalam kurikulum 2013, Pramuka hadir dengan tujuan untuk membentuk kepribadian yang berkarakter, tangguh, mandiri, serta memiliki semangat kemanusiaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan dapat menanamkan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 5 SDN 101786 Helvetia. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan. Dengan adanya kegiatan pendidikan kepramukaan berdasarkan tri satya dan dasa darma pramuka, sedikit demi sedikit sikap serta perilaku siswa (anggota Pramuka) mulai mengalami kemajuan secara progresif dan menunjukkan siswa mampu menerapkan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan. Kata Kunci: Penanaman Nilai-nilai Kewarganegaraan, Ekstrakurikuler Kepramukaan.

Abstract

Indonesian culture is a unique and diverse culture that is sometimes referred to as multicultural. In connection with the diversity of the Indonesian nation, conditions with attitudes that do not reflect a sense of pride in culture tend to become conflicts of quarrels or disagreements between conflicting parties. This study aims to determine the importance of essentialism in the development of a civic education learning system that integrates tolerance values towards cultural diversity. The method used in this research uses qualitative research methodology with a literature study approach. The analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it is found that there are a number of cases of freedom of religion/belief (KBB) that indicate losses, inconveniences, and disturbances in the aspect of freedom of religion/belief (KBB). Through the analysis conducted, it can be concluded that the civic education learning system must be improved and developed in order to outstand the value of tolerance towards students who are the younger generation who continue the development of the Indonesian Nation, which ensures that especially educators must have the value of tolerance regulated by the state and students must be able to follow the understanding of good and correct civic values

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of education in forming children's awareness. Becoming civically aware is increasingly important in complex modern societies, where children need to understand their rights, obligations and responsibilities as citizens. This research uses interview methods with teachers and students. The research results show that citizenship education has an important role in forming children's awareness. Through a relevant curriculum and interactive learning approach, children can learn about the values of democracy, pluralism, tolerance and human rights. Citizenship education also helps children understand their role in building a just and sustainable society. Apart from that, this research also identified several challenges faced in implementing citizenship education, such as a lack of resources and training for teachers, as well as differences in political views that exist in society. Therefore, recommendations are given to strengthen the role of citizenship education through the development of a more inclusive curriculum and better training for teachers. Thus, this research confirms that citizenship education has a significant role in forming children's awareness of their rights, obligations and responsibilities as active citizens and participants in the development of society and the country.

Abstract

Civic Education has a high role in increasing the spirit of nationality, especially for generation Z as the nation's successor who is expected to contribute to his country.Our reason for choosing the role of civic education in building young people's political awareness and many generation z who prefer abstention in general elections because they think that there are no political parties that can be trusted.This research uses interview and documentation methods. The interview method is like asking generation Z youth about the role of Civic Education in shaping political awareness and the documentation method we do is like taking pictures to document the physical or visual state of an event object.Many young people are less aware of politics in addition to generation Z youth do not care about politics.Starting from questions to high school students who say that civic education lessons do not increase awareness of politics.Then there are also many generation Z youth who do not use their voting rights or choose to abstain, fulfilled with quite logical reasons.Rethinking the importance of political participation in realizing political democracy. It is appropriate for young people to open political insights so that whatever public opinion is given regarding the political process is not accepted raw. Because one vote in the general election will determine the direction this nation will take. Choosing is not easy, but not choosing is not a wise attitude..
