Abstract

The aim of this research is to increase students' learning motivation through a self-efficacy approach. The type of research carried out is Classroom Action Research (PTK). This type of research is classroom action research or classroom action research (PTK). This research uses a design developed by Kemmis Mc Taggart which consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Kemmis and Mc Taggart unite the components of action and observation as one unit. The results of this observation are used as the basis for the next step, namely reflection. Reflections are obtained which then create a modification which is actualized in the form of a series of subsequent actions and observations, and so on. The data sources used in this research are secondary data and primary data. Secondary data in this research are school documents or archives. Based on the results of the evaluation of action in cycle II, 10 or (30.3%) students had self-efficacy in the very high category, 24 or (69.7%) students in the very high category. high, and there were no students in the very low category with an average self-efficacy score of 94.91 or in the high category, this shows that there was an increase in the self-efficacy score of 2.62, namely the average self-efficacy score. efficacy increased from 92.29 in cycle I to 94.91 in cycle II.
